No stinkin' hurricane will bring this lovely rose down!

Bette Midler wasn't going to let the devastation of Sandy deter all the efforts she's made in raising awareness for her charity, Bette Midler's New York Restoration Project.

Dressed as the ghost of Coco Chanel, Bette made the decision that the show MUST go on and held her annual Halloween party last night at the Waldorf-Astoria hotel in NYC.

And if anything, she had even better reason to host the event considering how important her fight to improve green spaces around the city is.

Billy Crystal and Bette Midler are combining their comedic timing to explore the struggle of parenting AND grandparenting in Parental Guidance.

The comedy hits theaters on Christmas Day and based on the first trailer (above), it looks like a great flick for the entire family.

And besides, it's been WAY too long since we've seen either of these comic legends in a movie so we're extra happy that they decided to star in one together.

Marisa Tomei is playing the couples daughter with GCB's Tom Everett Scott co-starring as her husband whose business trip sets the entire plot into motion.

Where is that BoOOOooOOOoK! We must find a spell to bewitch those silly people at Disney for denying us Hocus Pocus 2 : Rise of the Elderwitch!!

We were singing SO many enchanting tunes when we heard whisperings that a sequel to the cult halloween film Hocus Pocus was currently in development.

But alas, a virgin will NOT be lighting a candle to resurrect the Sanderson sisters any time soon, according to a Disney spokesperson.

And okay, while we adore the original twisted tale starring Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker, and a young Thora Birch, perhaps we should remember the fantasy flick's main lesson: ’tis better to let sleeping witches lie!

But then Thackery Binx would never have found peace! Oh we are so conflicted…

Perhaps we're just dizzy from lack of food… it has been a while since we've fed on the life force of children! Ha!

The best Halloween movie of all time (sorry Tim Burton) is getting re-made!

If you don't know what we're tailing about, your parents didn't love you we'll give you a little Hocus Pocus backstory: It's about three awesome witches that are brought back from hell accidentally by a meddling virgin. Once back, the witches must suck the souls of all the neighborhood kids to stay young. Naturally, they are thwarted before doing so.

More importantly, it introduced a new generation to Bette Midler and Sarah Jessica Parker. Life. Changing.

During Tuesday's Forbes 400 Summit on Philanthropy, during which over 100 of the United States' most success entrepreneurs met up in New York to try and brainstorm ways to help solve some serious issues going on in the world today, the attendees were treated to a little musical treat by two people we never even anticpated would be in the same room EVER!

That's right, Jon Bon Jovi - who is ranked by the magazine as one of the most charitable celebrities himself - teamed up with Warren Buffet - arguably the most successful investor of the 20th century AND apparently quite the ukulele player - for a charming cover of Bette Midler's Glory Of Love!
