The fourth movie On Stranger Tides smashed box office records this weekend, becoming the biggest international opening of all time. YES, really!
Grossing a massive $256.3 million, the movie grossed nearly three times as much money as North America's $90.1 million.
Sure, it's not hundreds of millions, but not too shabby for one continent.
The movie knocked Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince off its throne, which was the original international blockbuster with $236 million.
Well done, Johnny and Co.! We have a feeling the Pirates franchise won't be going away any time soon…
