Oh, come on!

Who knows if we'll ever get a Dawson's Creek reunion, but this could be an awesome opportunity to AT LEAST have a small one!

Michelle Williams and Busy Philipps have been friends since they co-starred together on the WB drama as Jen Lindley and Audrey Liddell back in the day, and apparently, the latter has been trying to get her bestie on her current show, Cougar Town…but the show creator may have missed his opportunity!

She explains:

Cougar Town Star Christa Miller Sued By Manager For Unpaid Commi$$ion$

Meow!

Cougar Town star Christa Miller is being sued by her manager Jill Littman for $200,000 in unpaid commissions.

The manager not only claims she helped her get the job on the show, but she's basically saying that Miller exploited her into landing the gig.

Littman does say that she was paid her 10% for the first season, but then payments that were apparently promised to her stopped coming after that.

So tacky! And here's why…

Cougar Town Is Getting A Name Change…For Real This Time!

Filed under: TV NewsWacky, Tacky & True

At least if executive producer Bill Lawrence gets his way!

The writer once again revealed that he hates the title of his smash comedy just as much as he did when he tried to change it last season, and he is reaching out to fans of the series to help he and his team come up with a suitable replacement!

He said in an interview:

You have no idea how much it hurts me and [executive producer] Kevin [Biegel] to see that title on the screen knowing that we had something to do with it. [Laughs] It’s such a played-out joke and we just feel dumb in retrospect. This is the same as people saying “Keri Russell’s hair killed Felicity” — if this show goes away before it’s time, it was because we were dumb enough to name it Cougar Town. And there’s nothing we can do about it. If Cougar Town stays the show’s title, we plan to mock it until the end of time because we hate it so much. It will ultimately be our Simpsons-like opening gag until, emotionally, it doesn’t hurt our souls so much.

Ha! Well, we guess that wouldn't be enough, because he later took to Twitter to say:

Screw it. I'm changing it (if Kevin's cool w it. Someone ask him for me). Seriously, we just decided. Will use fans to help w new title.

To answer many of you: Kevin and I titled the show. It helped sell it, plus we thought we'd do campy show about woman re-entering world.

Now Cougar Town is show about adult friendships and drinking. And it's called Cougar Town. I hate myself.

Yes, 22 episodes next year, and yes: when we change the title we will still do mocking title cards.

Our new title will suck and we will mock that, too…

Last year we wanted to change to "SUNSHINE STATE" or "Grown Ups" but couldn't due to TV show (Mr. Sunshine) and movie (horrifying Grown Ups)

Ha! Wow!

We guess they really are passionate about finding a better title for the show!

At this point, we'd say let it go, as it's already season three, but we're definitely curious to see if they come up with anything legitimately good to re-name the series!

What do U think the new title of Cougar Town should be??

Maniston And Cox Reuniting On Cougar Town!

jencox.jpg

It was bound to happen!

It seems that Jennifer Aniston will be guest-starring on Cougar Town's second-season premiere to air September 22nd. And Courteney Cox is thrilled!

Exective producer Bill Lawrence tells all:

She’s going to play Courteney’s shrink named Bonnie. Kind of a get-too-involved-in-her-life-type of therapist. Those guys are so close in real-life they kind of do that for each other anyway. Bonnie has the life Jules’ wishes she has.

It took us a while to find the show. And once we did and once it was clicking, I think that not only did Courteney feel comfortable talking to Jen about doing it, but comfortable in how funny she thinks the show is and that Jen would like it and fit into this world really well.

It starts and ends with Courteney and Jennifer being really great friends and excited to work together again —especially doing comedy together. Every day that those two talk they have more ideas about [the role]. It’s definitely something they’re both involved in creatively.

We’re very intentionally implying that it’s a therapist Courteney has been using for a while, and we’re certainly not going to make it like they’ll never see each other again. So I’m crossing my fingers that if she has a good time it’ll happen again.”

Ha. Let's not count our chickens. Maniston isn't always so good at bringing an audience.

Just saying.
