Kristen Wiig, Melissa McCarthy, Kate McKinnon, & Leslie Jones Destroy Misogynistic Trolls With The OG Ghostbusters — Watch!

Who you gonna call? Why, the original cast, of course!

There's only about a month until Ghostbusters gets rebooted with an all-female cast, which means there's less time than ever for misogynistic trolls to judge the movie before even getting a chance to see it.

Luckily, Kristen Wiig, Melissa McCarthy, Kate McKinnon, and Leslie Jones don't seem too annoyed by their haters… because they know they're really just 45-year-old men living in their parents' basements! LOLz!!!

During the eight-way interview, Bill Murray, Annie Potts, Ernie Hudson, and Dan Aykroyd officially gave their slimy blessing to the ladies while admitting they were a little nervous about the remake themselves at first.

We can't imagine Bill saying he found the new film to be funny if it really were a dud… so we can't wait to see it when it possesses theaters July 15!

Ghostbusters Star Dan Aykroyd Defends Remake, Saying 'It Has More Laughs And More Scares' Than Original!

Ever since the first trailer dropped for the new Ghostbusters movie, there has been A LOT of backlash from fans.

The overwhelming hue and cry was that the new film was sullying the franchise, much of which sadly seems to be fueled by sexism over the gender-swapping of the leads.

Of course it didn't help the negative chatter when star Melissa McCarthy admitted the trailer was confusing, not to mention the toys look like they're strictly marketed towards little boys.

But in the midst of all this dislike, Dan Aykroyd, one of the stars of the ORIGINAL spooky comedy, took to Facebook to share his thoughts after seeing the remake — and he LOVED it!

FYI: The World Is Ending This Weekend, According To Ghostbusters 2 — Watch!

no title

For some people, being single on Valentine's Day might feel like the end of the world.

And according to Ghostbusters 2, the apocalypse might just actually happen this year!

The 1989 comedy sequel shows Dr. Peter Venkman (Bill Murray) interviewing psychic Elaine (Chloe Webb) for his show The World of the Psychic.

And the clairvoyant reveals that her "sources" predict the end of the world to be on February 14, 2016.

Photos: Movies That Have Their Own Holidays!

Venkman's response to this claim, in that classic Murray deadpan, is a simple:

"Valentine's Day. Bummer."

We really hope Elaine is mistaken. It would be a shame for the apocalypse to hit before we get to see Kristen Wiig and Melissa McCarthy in Paul Feig's Ghostbusters remake!

Prepare yourself for the possible end of the world this weekend with a clip from the scene (below)!
