Former Rolling Stones bassist Bill Wyman has been diagnosed with prostate cancer.
Fortunately, doctors caught the illness early and he is expected to make a full recovery.
A rep for the musician said in a statement:
"He is undergoing treatment and is expected to make a full recovery as it was caught in the early stages."
They added that the family "asked for their privacy during this time."
The 79-year-old left the Stones back in 1993 after being with the group for nearly 30 years. He currently tours and records with his group Bill Wyman's Rhythm Kings.
We're happy to hear docs are optimistic about Wyman's diagnosis.
Hang in there, Bill!!
