Jeffrey Tambor SHUTS DOWN The Cut-Off Music After Winning Outstanding Lead Actor In A Comedy Series At The 2016 Emmys!

That's two in a row for Jeffrey Tambor!

On Sunday, the acclaimed actor took home the award for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series at the 2016 Emmys for the second year in a row!

The 72-year-old received the honor for his work as Maura Pfefferman on Transparent, but the Amazon star was also up against some stiff competition.

The California native beat out Anthony Anderson (black-ish), Aziz Ansari (Master of None), Will Forte (The Last Man on Earth), William H. Macy (Shameless), and Thomas Middleditch (Silicon Valley).

The Arrested Development alum even acknowledged how talented his fellow nominees are, saying in his speech:

"There is no best actor, alright?"

And, he also shut down the producers, when they tried to play the cut-off music while he was speaking! The celeb shushed the orchestra so he could emotionally exclaim:

"Please give transgender talent a chance."

Anthony Anderson Says There's A Chance President Obama Could Appear On Black-ish! Deets HERE!

Filed under: TV NewsBarack ObamaMichelle Obama

'Black-ish' could get political!

That. Would. Be. AMAZING!

At the Emmys on Sunday, Anthony Anderson let it slip that he's trying to get President Barack Obama and the First Lady to appear on his hit comedy Black-ish! He explained:

"We're petitioning to get Pres. Obama on the show."

But before you roll your eyes and assume a petition won't actually accomplish anything, get this: producers have been talking to the White House directly! Anthony dished:

"They watch the show. They love it. We know them so we've been dealing with them and their people and hopefully they'll say yes."

The actor first learned the Commander-In-Chief and his wife were fans of the sitcom back in January. He says when he met the powerful pair, they gushed about how much they love his show! How awesome!

The whole thing is actually kind of overwhelming to Anthony, but in the best possible way! He said:

"Who would have thought I would be like, 'You know, we're talking to POTUS about being on our show,' while I'm on the red carpet at the Emmys because I'm nominated for that show?"

We really hope Barack and Michelle agree to appear on the ABC program! That would just be the coolest!!! Would U watch their episode, Perezcious readers?

Black-ish's Yara Shahidi & Gotham's Natalie Alyn Lind Are Fabulously Festive At The Teen Choice Awards

Teen Choice Awards 2015: Yara Shahidi & Natalie Alyn Lind walk the red carpet.

These two are no wallflowers!

Yara Shahidi and Natalie Alyn Lind embraced print and color at the Teen Choice Awards in LA on Sunday.

Both young actresses made quite the statement with their respective looks — we're glad they gave us something interesting!

Black-ish's Yara was a riot of Impressionist-style florals in her one-shoulder Rubin Singer dress with flared skirt and strappy heels.

Meanwhile Gotham's Natalie reminded us of a fancy Ming vase with her floral and honeycomb lace overlay frock — so much detail!

Thoughts???
