Travis Barker Bows Out Of Blink182 Concert Dates In Australia Because He's Not Ready To Fly!

Travis Barker has had to battle his fair share of demons since barely surviving the plane crash that killed four others back in 2008, and although he's now drug-free and changed his lifestyle to ensure his health is his top priority, he is still unable to fly.

Which sadly means that he simply cannot join his blink182 bandmates for their upcoming tour dates in Australia.

He posted the following message on Facebook last night:

Ch-ch-check out Up All Night, off of their upcoming album, Neighborhoods (above)!

Definitely sounds like more of their earlier stuff, with a splash of Tom's side project, Angels & Airwaves, thrown in there for good measure!

We approve!

Good to have you back, guys! Can't wait to hear the rest of the new album!

New Blink182 Is STILL On Its Way!

mark-hoppus-talks-new-blink182-album

It's coming, guys! Just be patient!

We announced a few months ago that Blink182 was planning on reuniting this summer, to not only go on tour, but to release a brand new album of material, and now lead singer Mark Hoppus wants you to know that this is still the plan, but because of drummer Travis Barker's solo gig taking up some time, the new material may not come together in the timeline they originally anticipated!

He explains:

"We are still planning for an early-to-midsummer release, we're working very hard at it. Right now Travis is back on the road, so I'm back in L.A. working on the record, [guitarist Tom DeLonge's] working on the record, we're sending stuff to Travis; as soon as [he] gets back, hopefully Tom and I will have the album in a shape where Travis can come in and we can spend, you know, a month, month-and-a-half working really hard on pounding out the album and get it done. It's definitely a very different process … before, at least we were all in the same room at the same time. With this, with Travis having his solo record, me being in L.A., and Tom doing his stuff and also being in San Diego, at first it felt like maybe it was a bit piecemeal, but now it feels like we're getting into a good rhythm. Between sending songs back and forth to each other, we'll all meet up in the studio every few weeks and go over everything, listen down to everything and I'll say, 'OK, I love what you did with this idea. Let me take this song for a week and try some ideas on it.' And I'll take a song for a week, try a bunch of stuff on it, present it back to everybody else, they'll make their comments and then move on from there. There's songs that I think are finished that we go back and work on some more, there's songs that I think are going to take a long time and they end up progressing pretty quickly. I feel like we've worked on about 16 tracks, of which 12 of those are making the cut. When songs don't seem to be working, we let them fall by the wayside, and I think we're pretty good about putting the better songs forward. So, we're working on 12, five or six of those are in states that are near completion, and the other ones are formed ideas with structures and parts — they just need filling in. The skeletons are all there, we just need to fill in the pieces."

Hey! Life gets in the way, and we can be patient!

We just want to make sure that this actually happens! We have heard some new Blink in quite some time, and we're looking forward to hearing how your sound has evolved!

Take your time, guys, and we can't imagine that you'll disappoint!

New Brit Brit Track To Feature…Travis Barker?!

We LIKE the sound of this! Big time!

Producer Rodney Jerkins recently opened up about contributing two separate tracks to Britney Spears' upcoming album, Femme Fatale, and revealed that in order to give our gurl a little bit more of a rock-inspired edge to her new material, he enlisted the help of Blink182 drummer Travis Barker!

Check out the clip (above)!

All very VERY good things! We're going to have to keep an ear out for him when it gets released!

Did Jesse James Hire A Private Investigator To Set Up His Ex-Wife?

jjjljb.jpg

We've all seen what a scummy, lying piece of shit this man is, so we wouldn't put it past him! But she's an effing psycho - so honestly, who knows?

Jesse James is currently in the middle of a nasty custody battle with the nurse on the cover of that Blink182 CD his ex-wife Janine Lindemulder, who is now claiming that he hired a private investigator in 2006 to get her jailed for tax evasion!

According to Lindemulder's lawyer, James hired investigator Brad Martin to spy on his client, and pass along information to an IRS agent named Todd Anderson, who was instrumental in uncovering the charges that they eventually brought against her.

Jesse admitted that he DID in fact hire a private investigator, but he maintains that it was only so he could find out where his ex-wife had taken their daughter, Sunny!

The judge, however, found all of this information irrelevant to the case, as Lindemulder pled guilty to those charges when it was all going down and had no business in their current case!

These two are so unbelievable. We hope the judge listens to all of their bullshit and does what's best for Sunny by giving NEITHER of them full custody of her.

Isn't there any way they can just send her back to Sandra?!

That poor, poor little girl. Our heart really breaks for her.
