12 Board Games That Make For Fabulous Drinking Games!

gallery 12 board games that make for fabulous drinking games

As we age, many childhood pastimes we once loved sadly seem to lose their luster.

While legos and dolls and pogo sticks might be fun for little kids, they're a somewhat lame way adults to spend their Saturday evenings. Board games, to be honest, might as well just be called bored games!!!

Unless, of course, you're willing to spice them up with booze! If you're willing to turn them into drinking games, you might be surprised how fun they can become!

Battleship may be the most recent, but it's certainly not the first board game to get adapted for the silver screen!

And there are PLENTY MORE ripe for the Hollywood treatment!

P.S. We included some of the potential writers and directors we thought would be a good match for some. Who do U think could tackle the others?

Lindsay Involved In New Legal Dramz Over Fashion Photos!

lindsay lohan in legal dramz over fashion pics

Hopefully she can get all this worked out! She's gotta be SO burnt out on legal drama by this point!

Back in April 2010, Lindsay Lohan settled a lawsuit with photographer Scott Nathan over claims that she owed him $$$ for promo pics taken for Lindz's 6126 fashion line.

Looks like Lindsay didn't hold up her end of the settlement, because last week, Nathan filed court docs claiming that he hasn't received payments which were supposed to begin in March. He wants a judge to force Lindsay to pay up.

A little low on cash, Lindz? Maybe instead of cash payments, you can invite Scott over for one of your House Arrest sleepovers! Who WOULDN'T say yes to pillow fights, VIRGIN margaritas, and board games?!?!?

Invite us too, Lindsay! Let's get a mean game of Scattergories going on. Ha!

All jokes aside, what do U think about Lindsay's new legal dramz? Should she pay up?

No More Stealing Pink Fifties! Computers Take Over Monopoly!

You know, making the world's smartest humans look like simpletons on national television is one thing, computers….but now you are screwing with an American pass-time!

We don't like this at all!

Introducing Monopoly Live, the newest edition of America's favorite way to waste 13 hours of their lives. The rules are the same as they always were, but in this new age, people apparently shouldn't be bothered to do things like roll dice or count change. Heavens no! That's why Hasbro unveiled a new technology - a new computer - that will do all the work for you!

See that tower in the middle of the board there? That wonder stick keeps track of all your money, rolls the dice for you and it even knows where your doggie lands on the board. No more Chance or Community cards, everything is done by that Shake Weight magic cylinder. With a wave of one hand, you can buy Park Place and with a wave of the other, you can say goodbye to cheating your Grandma out of all the Railroads. This super computer will have none of those shenanigans.

Check out the video (above) to see Monopoly Live plot its world domination in action.

Too much. We're really not okay with this.

How about U?

Lauren Graham In Loving Relationship With Peter Krause

Awww!

Lauren Graham and Parenthood co-star Peter Krause’s relationship has been in the works for a long time, ever since he invited her over to his house to play board games 15 years ago.

Lauren says that they weren’t ready to be together at that point in time.

"I think we liked each other [but] he asked me over to his house to play a board game – and that's exactly what we ended up doing. So I was like, 'This guy doesn’t like me. Who actually plays a board game?'… The timing wasn't right. I don’t think either of us was ready."

"He's obviously a very confident, appealing guy,” added Graham. “But he's shy, and so am I."

Despite the slow start, things are going swimmingly now that they’re older.

"One of the things that's been so fun is that it's so easy," says Graham. "It's a lot, to work with somebody and spend time with them, too."

Graham and Krause kept their relationship under the radar for a long time. Lauren says it’s because she wants their relationship on screen (brother and sister) to not be tarnished by the public perception of them being a couple.

This couple is so adorable and real! And they teach us a great lesson: if you’re single and lonely, try to reconnect with that guy/girl you played board games with 15 years ago. That’s where true love is!

Scrabble Changes The Rules!

Filed under: Wacky, Tacky & True

ap05111706114scrab.jpg

For the first time in the game's history, the Scrabble rules are changing to allow proper nouns to be used in play!

A new version of the game will be released in July by Mattel and the company says:

"This is one of a number of twists and challenges included that we believe existing fans will enjoy and will also enable younger fans and families to get involved."

There will still be older versions of the game produced with the original rules.

Now you can get a pretty juicy triple word score with "PEREZ HILTON!"
