José Fernández, the star MLB pitcher for the Miami Marlins who was killed late last month in a boating accident in south Florida, has now been found to be legally drunk and with cocaine in his system at the time of the accident, according to toxicology reports released today.

It sounds like Lindsay Lohan has undergone emergency surgery to repair her finger after nearly losing it completely in an accident with an anchor on a boat, according to her own Snapchat account from early Sunday morning.

The star posted a pic of her heavily bandaged finger with the explanation attached — including a note that they had to actually find a piece of her finger! Yikes!!!

Miami Marlins Star Pitcher José Fernández Killed In Boating Accident

This is unimaginably tragic.

Miami Marlins star pitcher José Fernández was killed in a boating accident in Miami early Sunday morning, the MLB team has confirmed. He was just 24 years old.

The pitcher and two other unidentified people were pronounced dead early Sunday after a Coast Guard patrol found a 33-foot boat overturned on a jetty about 3:30 a.m. local Miami time, according to Coast Guard Chief Nyxolyno Cangemi.

The accident is currently being investigated by the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission.

The Marlins, who were set to play the Atlanta Braves today, have canceled their game in light of the tragedy surrounding Fernández (pictured above, left, laughing with an umpire during a game last week).
