Last night, it was Lauryn Hill's turn to pay tribute to Bob Marley on Jimmy Fallon's week-long event to commemorate the 30th anniversary of legendary Jamaican singer's death. As a member of the singer's family (she's married to Rohan Marley, Bob Marley’s fourth eldest son) it only seemed right she be a part of the celebration.

Personally, we think she should have sprung for a 14-bedroom home, but we SUPPOSE this should be all right. LOLz.

Rihanna has announced that she'll be moving to her "first over-the-top real home," which is a "12-bedroom modernist mansion."

Here's what RiRi had to say about her new hotel home:

"I looked steady for two years, and it is way above the price I was looking for, but I loved it."

“It is all white. There is a gun chandelier in the middle of the living room. In one room, I have this huge black-and-white painting of Bob Marley, and the wallpaper is green, yellow, and red, the African-flag colors.”

We're sure this place is beautiful and we're certainly happy for Rihanna, but that sounds pret-ty intense for someone who's living alone.

Maybe she can bring some family members along to occupy the other 11 bedrooms…OR she could start her own reality show and house all the contestants there! Winner gets to collab with RiRi on a song!

This is a big victory for the the heirs of Bob Marley.

A federal judge has ruled against a company that has been using the reggae legend's image in making and selling toys and apparel.

Leo Valencia, owner of Avela, has been ordered to pay Marley's family $300,000 in damages after the family complained that they didn't want to see Bob Marley's image portrayed on bobbleheads and plush toys.

The judge is expected to award more damages after determining if there was more profit lost because of unfair competition.

This is huge for the family considering just a few months ago they lost a lawsuit in obtaining the rights to some of Marley's most famous songs.

Such a shame, but at least they won this time.

We would have never pegged her for a fangirl!

Rihanna recently revealed that she has an entire room in her house dedicated to Bob Marley, filled with memorabilia in tribute to the legendary singer!

She explains:

“The Bob Marley room is my loungey room, so there’s incense burning, there’s a painting on the wall of Bob Marley in black and white, which I love. The rest of the room goes from green into yellow into red, like the Jamaican flag. There’s a little coffee table and these seats that are like big pillows on the floor, so it’s not formal at all. There are lots of Bob Marley books, lyric books. He’s one of my favourite artists of all time – he really paved the way for every other artist out of the Caribbean.”

Ha! Bob Marley, huh?

We doubt that it's only incense burning in that room, then! Gotta pay proper tribute, bb!

Yikes!

Bob Marley's family has lost a lawsuit seeking ownership of his most famous songs!

Executives at UMG Recordings were declared the rightful owners of copyrights to five albums that Marley recorded between 1973 and 1977 for Island Records including Catch a Fire, Natty Dread and Exodus.

The Marley family accused UMG execs of keeping royalties that belonged to them and ignoring a 1995 agreement assigning them rights under the original recording agreements.

That's too bad!
