Bob & Harvey Weinstein Are Expected To Get Into An EXPLOSIVE Fight At Upcoming Board Of Directors Meeting

weinstein brothers feud update

The Weinstein family feud is only going to get worse.

As you surely know, Harvey Weinstein has been ousted from The Weinstein Company following his sexual misconduct scandal. Not to mention, according to reports, the disgraced Hollywood heavyweight blames his brother and (now former) business partner, Bob Weinstein for allegedly leaking internal documents detailing decades of sexual harassment allegations to the New York Times.

Wow — Bob Weinstein is NOT holding back.

The younger brother (pictured above, left) of now-disgraced film executive Harvey Weinstein, Bob just came out with a very long interview with THR, and he's speaking out very, very strongly against all the sexual harassment that has now come out public.

The Weinstein Company Is NOT Shutting Down!

…or so they say!

Amid Harvey Weinstein's sexual harassment scandal and termination, The Weinstein Company is NOT closing its doors in response to the controversy.

On Friday, TWC co-CEO Bob Weinstein released the following statement denying rumors, and says business "moves ahead" despite Harvey's exit!

"Our banks, partners and shareholders are fully supportive of our company and it is untrue that the company or board is exploring a sale or shutdown of the company. Polaroid is moving forward as planned with a release date of November 22 followed by Paddington 2 on January 12. The first Paddington grossed over $75 million and we expect even greater success for Paddington 2. Test screening scores are through the roof. War with Grandpa starring Robert De Niro is scheduled for February 23, 2018. Business is continuing as usual as the company moves ahead."

Interesting enough, all of these titles are releases from TWC's genre division Dimension Films.

Whatever you say, dude…

The Weinstein Company Knew About Harvey's Settlements With Victims For YEARS!

twc knew about harvey weinstein settlements

We kinda assumed this was the case…

It appears The Weinstein Company was well aware of Harvey Weinstein's predatory ways as the independent film studio was alerted of a number of sexual harassment-related cash settlements during the disgraced producer's contract negotiations.

For shame, TWC!!

According to The New York Times, back in 2015, the company was informed of at least three or four settlements. David Boies, the lawyer who represented Harvey during this time, confirmed to the paper that TWC knew about several payouts. This directly contradicts what Harvey's brother Bob Weinstein and company chief David Glasser told staffers in a meeting on Tuesday.

Board member Lance Maerov admits he did know of settlements as he handled the contract talks; however, Maerov says he assumed these were cash payouts to keep consensual affairs under wraps. Hmm.

Maerov also assured the Times he only approved of the contract once he was assured that no company money was used in the settlements AND that there were no pending complaints against Weinstein (at the time). Unsurprisingly, Bob and Glasser declined to comment on the update.

Looks like the TWC board members have some 'splainin' to do…

Lisa Bloom Is Defending HERSELF Now After Shameful Harvey Weinstein Defense Email Leaks!

When we heard Lisa Bloom was acting as Harvey Weinstein's lawyer, we were confused.

Lisa, the daughter of Gloria Allred, who had been making her own name as an advocate for women over the past few months, had said she was defending Weinstein to make sure defamatory, victim-blaming tactics weren't used to "scare other women from coming forward, which has always been the way it's been done before."

While it would be a noble goal to try to stop that from happening, it was still odd to many that she would be willing to try to defend such a creep, considering her previous work.

Well, it seems during the days she was working with Weinstein, she may have been totally willing to cast aside her feminist ideals and throw the same damn arguments at the accusers we always see.

In a letter obtained by Huffington Post, Lisa defends Harvey to The Weinstein Company's board, saying the women would be hit by "different reporting":
