According to medical examiners in Georgia, the Bobbi's autopsy details will be revealed to the public as early as March 4. The info was originally sealed by prosecutors due to the ongoing criminal investigation into her January 31 drowning incident.
Obviously, authorities in the case wanted to keep the details secret as to not compromise their hard look into Kristina's ex Nick Gordon. Police and B.K.'s family strong believe the former boyfriend had something to do with her mysterious death.
The tables turned on cops when a local T.V. station in Atlanta went to court to obtain the results on First Amendment grounds. It's somewhat of a surprise considering the media complied to prosecutor's wishes for so long.
Despite the judge's order, a rep for the medical examiner's office has yet to receive a signature authorizing the move:
"We've not received a signed authorization from the court indicating whether we can release information and, if so, what type of information can be released. If we do receive authorization later today, we do not plan to release information until tomorrow, March 4, 2016, at the earliest."
While the rep seems cautious about the order, the district attorney in the case seems to have admitted defeat and urged the media to move forward with "discretion":
"It is our feeling that those valid reasons still exist; however, as citizens and officers of the court we must, nevertheless, follow the orders and instructions of the court. We would hope that news agencies and the media receiving the report would do so with the discretion and dignity a family who has lost a loved one deserves. Our investigation into the death of Bobbi Kristina Brown will continue."
Wow. We hope the media respects the family of Bobbi as they should.
