boston marathon bombing prosecutors seek death penalty Dzhokhar Tsarnaev execution

If the U.S. Department of Justice has its way, one of last year's Rolling Stone cover boys might be executed.

On Thursday Attorney General Eric Holder and federal prosecutors announced they were seeking the death penalty in the trail of alleged Boston Marathon bomber Dzhokhar A. Tsarnaev!

He stands accused of making homemade bombs with his now deceased brother, Tamerlan, and detonating them near the finish line of last April's Boston Marathon. The explosions killed three people and injured more than 260 others.

If the terror suspect is convicted and subsequently sentenced to death, his would be the first federal execution in over a decade and the highest profile one since Oklahoma City bomber Timothy McVeigh was given a lethal injection in 2001.

In an eight-page statement prosecutors said:

A woman in Michigan is feeling the heat right now, because of her poor poor decision to dress as a Boston Marathon victim for Halloween.

Not only was it in bad taste, but she posted a picture of it because she thought it was hilarious! Now, she's lost her job and is enduring the outrage of a world offended by such sensitivity — but the death threats she's getting go little too far!

What kind of woman would be so insensitive? If you guessed:

"The same kind of woman who would have previously posted a picture of her drivers license, which showed her full name and address."

You are correct!

Alicia Ann Lynch, 22, posted a pic of herself wearing her 'Halloween costume' on her Twitter account, and that backlash was

The remaining suspect in the Boston Marathon bombings has been officially indicted!

The federal grand jury took all three deaths and 260 injuries caused by the homemade pressure cooker bombs into account.

They ended up translating the mayhem into a total of 30 counts against Dzhokhar Tsarnaev.

17 of those charges could result in Tsarnaev's lifelong imprisonment or execution.

The 19-year-old will be tried as an adult, so the death penalty is a possibility in this case.

We'll keep you updated as we find out more.

Boston Marathon Bombing: Two Of Three New Suspects Identified As Dzhokhar's Classmates

boston bombing new suspects

As we previously reported, Boston police announce they had detained three additional suspects involved in the Boston Marathon bombing.

It has now been revealed that two of the three were classmates of Dzhokhar Tsarnaev. They all studied at University of Dartmouth together.

Azamat Tazhayako and Dias Kadyrbayev were reportedly arrested on May 1, according to CNN, in connection with the bombing that took place during the Boston Marathon.

Both from Kazakhstan, the two (who have also dealt with immigration charges) are expected to appear before a judge on Wednesday to face their reported charges of 'making false statements to investigators and conspiracy to obstruct justice.'

The identity of the third has yet to be revealed, but it's being reported they are a U.S. citizen.

According to law enforcement officials, all three are accused of removing items from Dzhokhar's dorm room after the bombings. They also believe the suspects helped destroy evidence that could further implicate Dzhokhar in the bombing.

Hopefully new information will be released soon.
