"Miracle" might not be the right word for her, because after facing cancer TWICE, Robin Roberts has earned the title of a WARRIOR!
The Good Morning America anchor has, for the most part, kept her personal life private over the years. However, she has recently begun opening up more and more and sharing huge details on her relationship with her girlfriend of 10 years Amber Laign, and of course her health struggles.
Back in 2012, Robin was diagnosed with a bone marrow disease called

Legendary newsman Tom Brokaw just revealed that he has cancer!!!
Apparently the author, journalist, & NBC News Special Correspondent was diagnosed with multiple myeloma — a cancer that affects blood cells in bone marrow — way back in August at the Mayo Clinic.
Ugh!!! What a horribly unfortunate turn of events!
Thankfully, the 74-year-old South Dakota native hasn't let the bad medical news get him down. Tom is DETERMINED to kick cancer's ass!!

Still high off her standing ovation while accepting a Peabody Award on the eight-month anniversary of her bone marrow transplant, Robin Roberts has just announced that she's releasing a memoir next year!
And we aren't talking at the END of next year… we're talking SPRING 2014!
It's true! She has sealed a deal with Grand Central Publishing to release a memoir in spring 2014, and you bet your asses she'll be talking about how it feels to have gone through the ridiculous amounts of health trouble she's been through — and to remain victorious!

Darian Craig has neuroblastoma, a cancerous tumor that affects mostly infants — something she was diagnosed with as a small small child. Against all odds, she BEAT the 15% chance she had of surviving!
Sadly, that wasn't the only problem: she spent the next 14 years of her life in and out of emergency rooms battling Behcet's syndrome, a rare disorder that causes blood vessels to become inflamed! Not only did she have to have radiation treatments, but she had to have chemotherapy and a bone marrow transplant as well. She is one HELL of a fighter.
She was then diagnosed with Myelodysplastic Syndrome, a rare blood and bone marrow failure disorder, after she had beaten everything else. She was going to need a lot of help to beat this, and they found the perfect match to do it — Evander Holyfield Jr.! You might know his dad, the boxer and champion?

Talk about selfless!!
Cameron Lyle is a senior at the University of New Hampshire, and just decided to end his own athletics career in favor of donating his bone marrow to a man with leukemia! That's so incredible!
Cam focusing primarily on shot put, the team encouraged players his sophomore year to join the bone marrow registry — so he did! Two years later, they've told him he's a match… which is super rare to be a match with anyone outside of your own family!
