Way to go, Google! This is an impressive move!
As a holiday bonus, Google's CEO Eric Schmidt has decided that the company will give all of its employees $1,000 cash (tax free) AND they'll be increasing salaries across the board by at least 10% starting January 1st!
As if that weren't enough, the company will also gives employees further raises equivalent to 1X each employee's target bonus for the year AND they'll be eligible for "merit increases" based on their performances.
Smart move, Google! World domination Company success will be MUCH easier to attain when employee morale is high.

Randy Moss just left the Minnesota Vikings and headed to Tennessee to play for the Vikings. And they had a surprise waiting for him — $200,000.
While that doesn’t sound like much for a football player, the surprising part is that it as given to him by the Tennessee government.
The money actually comes from taxes he had set aside in Minnesota to pay for state income taxes, and now that he lives in Tennessee, the money will go in his pocket.
$200,000 sounds like the best house-warming gift ever!

It was announced today that Taylor Swift will be releasing a special edition version of her new album, Speak Now, exclusively to Target stores.
The album will have bonus content, including three additional songs, some remixes and video content, which all sounds cool, but we'll be taking our business elsewhere! There's no effing way we are buying anything from those bigots!
Someone on Team Swifty must have failed to mention to her that the superstore reportedly donated $150,000 to MN Forward, the PAC that supports anti-gay GOP gubernatorial candidate Tom Emmer.
That's kind of deterring factor for us, as well as A LOT of people we know!

Oprah Winfrey is celebrating the tenth year of her publication, O Magazine this month. Yesterday, Oprah dropped by Hearst headquarters, the publishers of her mag, and handed out a few tokens of appreciation.
Everyone on staff, regardless of how long they have been staffed there, received a new iPad, a leather case engraved with their initials and a check - for $10,000!!!!
What? No cars! How rude!
