Lauren Conrad's been bitten by the beauty bug!

The former reality star announced this week she's following up her Lauren Conrad Style book with Lauren Conrad Beauty.

LC wrote on her blog:

"…My beauty book will be your ultimate guide for all things beauty. In it, I’ll provide my personal insights, instructions and tips to keep you looking glamorous 365 days a year. I’ll address everything from how your diet affects skincare and fun hairstyles for a night out to one simple thing you can do each day to freshen up your look."

Now it all makes sense!

Lauren's slowly elbowed her way into the beauty world with the launch of the Beauty Department website in April. She also has a line of beauty products in the works, so really a book is the next logical step.

Smart girl.

Tyra Banks just recently released her book, Modelland, which is the first of a three-part series, and already she has offers to turn her novel into a movie!

Apparently just shortly after she announced the plans to publish the book she was approached by a successful film producer whose name she isn’t revealing.

Tyra Banks is anything but boring.

Miz Banks made an appearance on ABC's Good Morning America earlier today to promote her new book coming out, Modelland.

And if you're wondering what that hideous odd thing is over her eye, it's a plug for her book.

Tyra explains it's a "Smize" and tied it to her novel, which she describes as a fantasy, adventure novel consisting of a three part series, where people need to find a Smize to help their chances of getting into a special school.
