Kate Catherine Middleton might be described by some as a “modern princess,” but she still values a bit of tradition.

As part of her royal wedding earlier today, she made sure to keep with the Old English wedding rhyme of “Something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue.”

Something Old -
Catherine’s wedding dress featured a long-sleeved lace overlay by Alexander McQueen creative director Sarah Burton. The pattern used on the dress is known as the Carrickmacross lace-making technique and is said to be a tribute to traditional British craftsmanship.

Something New -
Her something new came from her parents as they gave her a pair of leaf-shaped diamond earrings made by Robinson Pelham to match her tiara.

Something Borrowed -
Catherine’s headgear featured a 1936 halo-style Cartier tiara lent to her by The Queen.

Something Blue -
And in order to include something blue, Catherine had a small amount of blue ribbon sewn into her gown.

Jeweler to the stars Jacob & Co. is going after Courtney Love for not returning over $100,000 in borrowed jewelry.

According to the lawsuit, Courtney picked up a laundry list of jewels to wear to the New Yorkers For Children Fall Gala on September 21st.

Love's borrowed bling included two white gold and diamond chains, a floral-design mesh bracelet and a pair of white gold and diamond pave hoop earrings, which can be seen in the pictures.

However, between then and now, all the baubles were lost except for the bracelet.

Two months later, Jacob & Co. claims that the kinderwhore singer needs to fork over $113,700 for the missing jewels since she agreed to be responsible for the items if they were lost or damaged..

The suit also said Courtney could return them, but unless there's an early Christmas miracle she might as well write them a check.

Madonna may have designed a collection from H&M, but that doesn't mean anything to them!

Rumor has it Madge has contacted the fast fashion retailer to borrow pieces from the newly unveiled Lanvin collection and they flat out told her no.

Harsh!

It's also being reported that Jennifer Lopez asked to borrow pieces as well and got the same answer.

Whether or not this is true, we find it kind of odd that either of them would be calling H&M when Jennifer is with Gucci and Madge with Dolce & Gabbana.

Just sayin'.

To everyone's surprise, Kim Kardashian was on the guest list to attend the White House Correspondents dinner on Saturday night looking like a hot mess.

First of all, she needs to fire her heavy handed make-up artist. Second, her vintage Valentino dress that she borrowed from her mom is all sorts of wrong!

Not only does it not fit her curvy figure, but she didn't even dry clean it! Just look at that crease going across her right boob!

Next year, just stay home.
