The sports world has lost a legend.

Boxing great Muhammad Ali passed away Friday at 74 years old from respiratory complications.

On Thursday, the fighting champ was hospitalized due to the issues. While a spokesman initially said in a statement that the acclaimed athlete was in fair condition and wouldn't be staying in the medical facility for very long, his ailment was reportedly complicated by his Parkinson's disease.

The sports star has suffered with the disease for three decades.

The Kentucky native was a true icon in the boxing world, amassing a professional record of 56 wins and five losses, and was only knocked out once.

The three-time World Heavyweight Champion was even nicknamed "The Greatest" because of his impressive legacy.

Muhammad Ali Reportedly In 'Grave Condition' As Daughter Laila Speaks Out Amid His Hospitalization

Oh no. We hope Muhammad Ali can pull through.

On Thursday, the boxing legend was checked in to a Phoenix-area hospital after suffering from respiratory issues. And while the 74-year-old's rep had said he was alright and wouldn't be in the medical facility for very long, it appears the ailing athlete isn't actually doing that well.

According to NBC News, a well-informed source says the former heavyweight champ is in "grave condition." Earlier, insiders had also said that the fighter's longterm battle with Parkinson's disease is complicating his condition.

During this tough time, the sports star's daughter Laila Ali has taken to Facebook to share a sweet snap (above) of her famous father, and thank his fans for their support.

Don't worry, UFC fans — Conor McGregor is still in the game.

Earlier in the week, the 27-year-old fighter confused fans when he posted a cryptic tweet announcing his retirement.

We later found out the tweet was in response to UFC head Dana White's decision to pull McGregor from his upcoming rematch against Nate Diaz at UFC 200, because he refused to do a promotional press event in Las Vegas.

The Irish athlete finally spoke out about the drama, and while he's "still ready to go for UFC 200," the featherweight champion is more concerned about training for the actual fight than talking about it!

This is incredibly eerie!

As we reported, revered comedian Garry Shandling died from a heart attack at the age of 66.

Earlier this year, the star of The Larry Sanders Show did an episode of Jerry Seinfeld's web series Comedians In Cars Getting Coffee where the two drove around Los Angeles in a 1979 Porsche 930.
