Guess we weren't alone when we drew similarities between Kristen Stewart's Oscars-on-crutches look that Demi Lovato has also been WERKING lately!
Even the Heart Attack singer, whose leg has been braced up since slipping on some freshly-cleaned, slippery floors in her apartment, noticed that she and the Twilight starlet, who apparently cut the bottom of her foot on glass, had more than just a little bit in common in regards to their injuries…and fashion-forward braces!
While live-Tweeting the ceremony, she wrote:
Twinzies, INDEED!
It's not every day that two starlets such of themselves sport such similar injuries!
But you both handled the unpleasantness and discomfort of them with pure grace - and SERIOUS style - so we think you deserve a round of applause…and possibly day on the couch with your legs properly elevated and well-rested!
Take care of yourselves, now!

What a sweetie!
Last week Katherine Heigl was spotted with a 2-month-old pit bull puppy.
We've discovered Kath took the injured dog from the California City Shelter and has coved his vet bills.
The puppy had been used as a bait dog in dog fights.
A bait dog is a weak dog or puppy used to boost an older dogs confidence because he is sure to win. The older dog is made to attack the bait dog while it pretty much just stands there.
Doctors found that Heigl's dog had a broken neck vertebra. The dog will stay in a neck brace for the next six to eight weeks.
While he recovers, the handsome young pit will stay with the Heigl family, after which they will try to find the puppy a new home. If that doesn't happen, they will adopt him.
If Kath falls in love with this dog (and who wouldn't) he will be her seventh rescue pup!

After a terrible horseback riding accident, Thea Maxfield is riding again!
Thea fell from her horse and suffered a broken neck when she tried to get up so the animal wouldn't trample her. That's when she realized she couldn't lift her head.
Being the brave person she is, she just cupped her hands and held her head as she got up.
At the hospital, doctors warned her that she could be paralyzed from this severe break, she was lucky to still be alive!
Doctors put a permanent brace on her neck, and within three months the bones were fused back together and she was back in the saddle after 7 months.
The brace was a specially-adapted head brace connected to a computer by tiny sensors. Thea is the first person in the world to use this technology.
Hopefully this system will be used more in the future.
This is an amazing story, and we are glad Thea made it through!!
