Miguel Reportedly IGNORED Billboard Music Awards' Orders To Not Jump Over Audience!!

miguel lawsuit warned billboard music awards producers

What a musical nightmare!

Miguel was allegedly very STERNLY ordered by producers of the Billboard Music Awards to avoid attempting the insane live stunt that ball slapped an unlucky fan, but he obviously refused to follow the reported instructions.

Now, thanks to the Adorn singer's rebellion, he could be smacked with a MAJOR lawsuit by head slam victim, Khyati Shah!

But what reasoning did producers give Miguel when they dismissed his cray cray idea??! It was *GASP* too dangerous!

We bet someone regrets not listening!

If Khyati's test results do prove she has brain damage then we can't imagine anyone being responsible other than the daredevil singer, assuming that producers really did warn him!

After all, they can't control him WHILE he is on stage performing!

Mental Patient Delivers Baby Born With Severe Brain Damage Due To Unequipped Hospital Staff

The state health department has acknowledged a huge screw up on their part after a pregnant mental patient was refused the proper resources necessary to deliver her baby safely.

The baby now has profound brain damage, and could be on a ventilator for the rest of his life.

A report from the inspector general of the Department of Children & Families reported that the 34-year-old woman, who was being held in Florida's largest mental hospital, became increasingly frantic to get medical care for her baby and called 911 twice.

Here's what she said to the operator:

“There’s nobody here that can help me right now, and I’m pregnant."

The emergency dispatcher asked to speak with the hospital caregiver who said:

“She says she’s going into labor; she’s not going into labor … Can’t send her nowhere right now."

The unidentified patient has schizophrenia. Her family, regarding the baby, said:

“He is not doing well. He is on life support.”

The state health services released a report that said the mental hospital took several missteps which resulted in the baby's subsequent severe brain damage.

Here what those "missteps" were:

"1. The hospital thought the woman wasn't due to deliver for another month or two.
2. The staff did not check the patient's blood pressure which was extremely fluctuated and should've served as a red flag.
3. The woman was given psychiatric medicine without the consent of her father and guardian.
4. The hospital had no guidelines on how to take care of a pregnant woman.
5. The staff was understaffed, and many workers were forced to work double shifts. "

We just hope the baby is able to survive, and this serves as a wake-up call to ALL mental institutions across the country to get their shizz together and not let a preventable tragedy such as this ever happen again.

Poetry Man Singer Phoebe Snow Has Passed Away.

This is truly just awful, and so, so sad.

Singer Phoebe Snow, who is probably most famous for her hit 1974 single Poetry Man, died this morning in Edison, NJ at the age of 60 due to complications from a brain hemorrhage she suffered in January.

After her initial success, she gave birth to a girl, Valerie, who was born with brain damage in 1975, and Snow let her career take a back seat as she acted as her daughter's primary caregiver until she passed in 2007.

She said in 2008:

"Occasionally I put an album out, but I didn't like to tour and they didn't get a lot of label support. But you know what? It didn't really matter because I got to stay home more with Valerie and that time was precious."

Hopefully she and her daughter are somewhere, together again in some form, and at peace.

Our thoughts and deepest sympathies are with her family, friends, and loved ones.

SuBo Says She Was Misdiagnosed As A Child

susan boyle says she was misdiagnosed as a child

Susan Boyle believes she was misdiagnosed by doctors when they said she had hyperactivity as a baby.

SuBo had suffered minor brain damage when she was born through an emergency c-section, but she feels that the doctors were wrong for writing her off so early in life.

Here's what she had to say about it:

"Some people in the medical profession said to my mother when I was one years old, 'Don't expect too much of her.'

More from SuBo:

"How can they foretell that at that young age? They can't. Hyperactivity in the '60s was considered a mental illness. It's not; it's Attention Deficit Disorder, they call it now. I think with myself, it was the wrong misrepresentation. My mum and dad knew it was, (doctors were) professionals and they tended to think that doctors were God and they knew everything, but they don't know everything."

You clearly proved them wrong, SuBo! We're proud of you for not allowing yourself to succumb to labels imposed upon you by others!

You're doing great, bb! Keep it up!

Eminem Was A Victim Of Bullying, He Reveals

eminem was bullied as a child

One of today's most popular rappers was a victim of bullying as well! Just goes to show that this problem can affect anyone.

As a child, Eminem was bullied so harshly that his mother sued the Detroit school system.

His history of being bullied started in elementary school, when a bully, DeAngelo Bailey, split his lip open and knocked the wind out of him. He suffered further beatings from the same bully, including a bathroom incident, where Em "sustained injuries to his head, face, back and legs."

In his worst run-in with the bully, Bailey hit Em in the face with a "snowball containing a heavy object or a piece of ice," and then proceeded to beat him up, which resulted in a concussion and temporary loss of vision in one eye for Em.

Eminem later referenced his bully in his 1999 song "Brain Damage" which included the following lyrics about Bailey:

"He banged my head against the urinal till he broke my nose/ Soaked my clothes in blood, grabbed me and choked my throat."

Bailey sued Eminem in 2001 for violation of privacy, but the suit was rightfully tossed out.

Recently, Eminem has been speaking out against bullying, in an effort to combat the trend of suicides resulting from anti-gay bullying in schools, despite the fact that Em himself has been accused of fueling anti-gay bullying through his song lyrics.

We're happy to hear that he's speaking out for the cause. This is such a crucial issue that needs to be dealt with, and we're proud of Em for stepping up to the plate!

What do U think of Eminem's story? Do U think he's currently more of a positive or negative influence when it comes to bullying?
