Glen Campbell's Alzheimer's Makes Him Forget He Has Alzheimer's!

Ugh! This is so sad!

Country legend Glen Campbell's alzheimer's was evident in his first interview since announcing his diagnosis two months ago.

During the interview, the Rhinestone Cowboy singer relied heavily on his wife to complete his thoughts and even managed to forget he had developed the disease.

"I hadn't gotten it yet. In fact, I don't even know where it came from," he spoke until his wife reminded him he had been diagnosed. With an innocent laugh, he continued:

"What? I haven't felt it yet. I've always been forgetful anyway. I'm only what, 78?"

His wife then correctly cited his age to be 75.

While Glenn's obvious decline is absolutely heartbreaking, we can't help but be comforted by the strong connection he has with his wife of nearly 30 years.

With a warm smile, he told ABC:

"There's a verse in the bible that says, 'If the man findeth a good wife he's found a good thing,' and I found a good thing, or she found me. Did you find me or did I find you?"

"I think we found each other," she answered.

"That's what we did," he said. "Amen."

For a real eye-opener about the tragic disease that affects nearly 5.1 million Americans, watch Glen Campbell's first televised interview since he has been diagnosed with Alzheimer's above!
