Sheryl Crow Believes Brain Tumor Is Due To Cell Phone!

Sheryl Crow has a benign brain tumor.

It's not causing any problems and shouldn't at all because it's only benign.

She believes she knows why she got the tumor… cell phones.

She said:

"There are no doctors that will confirm that. [But] I do have the theory that it's possible that it's related to that. I [used to spend] hours on the old archaic cell phones."

She said the tumor is in the same place she used to hold her cell phone and she thought something was wrong with her when she began spacing out on stage and forgetting lyrics.

She was worried it was early onset Alzheimer and even though a non-cancerous tumor is not something you want, it could have been much worse.

As for the cell phone theory… we think we'll be using speakerphone a little more often.

The Real Housewives Of Orange County's Gretchen Rossi Is Unbreakable! Check Out Her New Single HERE!

It isn't too rare these days for a lady in The Real Housewives franchise to decide to try her hand at a singing career!

It IS, however, rare for one to produce a song that is not only listenable, but also about something OTHER than money or fashion!

However, that is exactly what Gretchen Rossi has done with her new song, Unbreakable, which she recorded in honor of her boyfriend Slade Smiley's son, Grayson, who has been battling a brain tumor since he was 6!

Check it out (above)!

The reality starlet explains:

“[Grayson] just really inspired me to write a song about this kid being so young and dealing with so much and being unbreakable despite the fact.”

So true! We can't even believe that this brave young kid has spent half his life struggling against this illness.

But obviously, he's made of some stronger stuff than the average person, and we commend him for valiantly refusing to give up hope and being so brave!

You're in our thoughts, Grayson! Don't stop fighting!

What do U think?? Are U feeling Gretchen's new single?

sheryl crow brain tumor

Wow… this is really, really heavy.

Sheryl Crow just revealed she's suffering from a brain tumor.

Her doctor discovered it after she went in complaining of rampant memory loss.

Sheryl explains:

"I worried about my memory so much that I went and got an MRI. And I found out I have a brain tumor. I'm 50, what can I say? My brain's gone to s***!"

While it's yet to be told whether or not she plans on removing it via surgery, we can rest easy knowing that at least it's benign. Yes, benign. Phew!!

We hope everything remains care-free for you Sheryl!! You're such a sunny influence on the music industry!!

Gary 'The Kid' Carter Passes Away Due To Brain Cancer

Gary carter passesa away

It's a sad day for baseball.

Gary Carter, a Hall of Fame catcher who played for both the Montreal Expos and New York Mets, passed away on Thursday after battling inoperable brain tumors since last May.

The 57-year-old was nicknamed "The Kid" and described by sports agent Gerry Petrie as:

"Sincerity, honesty, wholesomeness - he's the kind of guy you want your son to be. And it's real. Gary is no phoney. He's one in a million. He loves his family, God and baseball. They call him The Kid, and he truly is a kid - not immature or foolish, but with a kid's openness and joy and purity."

It's always awful when someone with such a good heart dies too young, but at least his daughter recognizes he is in a better place, writing in a statement:

"He is in heaven and has reunited with his mom and dad. I believe with all my heart that dad had a STAND-ING OVATION as he walked through the gates of heaven to be with Jesus."

Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends who are grieving his loss. Rest in peace, Gary!

Danish Study Finds No Link Between Cell Phones And Cancer

cell phone caner

Another study analyzing the link between cell phone usage and cancer has turned up positive results for the mobile phone companies!

Scientists from the Institute of Cancer Epidemiology in Copenhagen, Denmark have determined phones do not increase the risk of cancer.

Researchers studied more than 350,000 cell phone users who were all at least 30-years-old, then compared their rates of brain tumors to those who didn't use cell phones between 1990 and 2007.

This information clashes with the World Health Organization's belief that cell phones ARE possibly carcinogenic. While this makes us sleep better at night (right next to our cell phones, of course), we're sure another study will find a way to say otherwise and the debate will continue!
