As we previously mentioned, Ryan O'Neal has stage two prostate cancer.

He's hoping that a new type of cancer treatment will work for him.

The new method, called cryopathy, is supposed to freeze the cancerous tumor off.

What a brave man.

Ryan said:

"It's a new method that has been developed… and they freeze the part of the prostate that's cancerous.

Hopefully, it freezes and then drops off but I don't know exactly what happens."

He will begin his treatment on May 10th.

We hope it works and wish him a speedy recovery.

80 Year Old Woman Lands Plane For Her Dead Husband

80 plane

No, not like, "in memory of her dead husband." We're talking that he went unconscious at the controls and passed away right there, and the 80 year old woman had to land the plane herself!

This is so sad, and yet so incredible at the same time.

We are so sorry for her loss, but we are blown away that she could be brave enough to land the plane herself.

It was about 5pm when the cops got a call that

The Atlanta Braves Battle Disney For 'Brave' Trademark

Braves vs. Brave

The Atlanta Braves are taking on Disney at the United States Patent & Trademark Office, where the two companies are fighting over the trademark on the word "Brave".

Disney has been registering different iterations and uses of the word to coincide with their most recent Pixar production, BRAVE, while the MLB team has been using the plural form for almost a century.

The Braves have until January 18th to file papers with the Trademark Trial and Appeals Board to oppose Disney's claim to the name. Sources, however, say, "private negotiations between The Walt Disney Company and the Atlanta National League Ball Club are currently taking place."

Given the fact that the Braves never seem to drop the "s", we're not exactly sure what they want it for, but we can see why they may feel Disney is stomping on their territory.

May the best corporation win!

Toni Braxton Discusses Autistic Son

Toni Braxton Discusses Autistic Son

Raising a child with special needs takes EVERYTHING you’ve got as a parent. Just ask Toni Braxton, whose son Diesel was diagnosed with autism at age three. She recently opened up about her struggles with raising him.

Said Toni:

“Diesel’s journey has been struggling. It’s been rewarding to see how he’s grown, but I remember when I first found out. I remember blaming myself; I thought it was my fault. I wish I knew what triggered it. Still, often, as a mom, I blame myself. I didn’t take my vitamins every day … maybe it was the medications I was on before I got pregnant.”

She continued:

“They haven’t figured out what triggers it, but whatever it is, I don’t care, find a cure. Help my kid; help all the other kids. But I had to shake myself off, and go ‘enough about me,’ and make sure my kid’s OK. Once they diagnosed him, we were able to itemize the issues.”

While Toni was struggling to raise her child, her marriage to Keri Lewis was starting to fall apart.

“It was challenging when we first found out. No one tells you this part – but Suzanne from Autism Speaks told me ‘Toni, the divorce rate is 80% when you have a special needs, autistic kid.’ No one talks about that part because the parents blame themselves. Making decisions about therapy is going to cause you to bicker and fight a bit. It played a little bit of a role in mine. Not the complete role, but it was definitely a role.”

Toni’s tireless efforts to raise Diesel have not been wasted — he is improving daily and starting to function at a high level.

“We still have a long way to go, but we’ve come such a long way. And he’s in public school now, mainstream school. He’s still in the special education program, but the point is that he’s coming out of autism. I’m very lucky.”

We cannot even imagine how difficult it must be to raise a child with autism. Toni is brave and wonderful.

So inspiring!
