Mary J. Blige Countersues Promotional Company For Not Giving Her First-Class Treatment!

mary j blige

Proud Mary keeps on burning…with anger!

We reported earlier how Mary J. Blige was being sued by Vision Entertainment Worldwide for breaching her contract by playing hookie at a Dallas concert to go perform at the Barclays Center with Mick Jagger.

Now, she's countersuing, saying that the promotional company breached the contract by not giving Mary and her friends first class air travel.

No free champagne, no early boarding, no service from Mary J.!

Not only is Mary demanding that she keep the $145k advance for the concert, but she's asking for the rest of her bill from the deal, which is a sum of $105,000, or roughly the price of one round trip first-class ticket (JK!)

If VEW thought she was gon' cry, they were wrong…she gon' sue!

Looks like this promotional company has got some extra baggage now!

The X Factor Facing Fines For Promoting Guest Acts' Music!

x-factor-facing-fine-for-promoting-music-downloads-of-guest-acts

Is this seriously an issue? We don't understand what the big deal is!

The X Factor could be in some trouble because they recently encouraged viewers to download songs by guest-performers Diana Vickers and Michael Buble!

During their October performances, presenter Dermot O'Leary told viewers on air that if they wanted to buy either acts' singles, they could go to the X Factor website for more details.

This apparently breaks broadcasting rules involving promotion of commercial products, and the series could now be facing a fine!

A spokesperson for TV watchdog Ofcom explains:

"We are investigating The X Factor for potential breaches of our rules prohibiting the promotion of products in programmes."

A producer of the show Talkback Thames responded with:

"We are aware of the Ofcom investigation. It relates to two on-air references on The X Factor regarding downloads of a guest artist on the show which were not available on the website. These references were as a result of a script error."

This is seriously so silly!

What's wrong with helping your guest performers and letting viewers know that their music is available?

Nobody's being forced to purchase it! And worse, nobody even complained about it!

So strange!

What do U think?? Should X Factor be fined??
