As of this week, Katy's smash E.T. (featuring Kanye West) tops the 5 million mark in digital sales, making it her fourth 5-million-seller behind Firework, California Gurls, and Hot N Cold. She stands as the only artist EVER to accomplish this feat, with Lady GaGa hot on her heels with three singles and the Black Eyed Peas and Flo Rida, both with two each.

There aren't any words! This is just … OUTSTANDING! We're extraordinarily proud of you, gurl! You worked hard and you created incredible music and you deserve all the accolades that come along with it!

Across the pond, Adele is breaking some BIG records.

Her sweet 21 is the longest running #1 album in 40 years .

With 18 weeks in the top spot throne, she joins the cool kids club with The Beatles, Elvis Presley, Simon and Garfunkel, and the Bee Gees' Saturday Night Fever soundtrack.

This flick just keeps on breaking records!

Last week, we were kind of surprised to hear that Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides has become Disney's biggest release of ALL TIME at the international box office, after grossing $695.9 million overseas.

Now, the fourth Pirates movie has achieved ANOTHER record: it's become the tenth biggest global release of all-time, with a worldwide box office total of $956.8 mil so far! Wowsa!

Last month, Taylor Swift had a major accomplishment by becoming the Recording Industry Association of America's (RIAA's) Top Digital Single Artist of 2011.

Now, her success streak continues with her single Mean, which reached #9 on the Country Songs top 10 this week, making it her 13th single to reach the chart's top 10!

Thanks to Mean, Taylor is now tied with Carrie Underwood, who is the only other female artist to have the same amount of consecutive top 10's in the Country Songs chart's history! Wowsa!

The only artist who's done better than Swift and Underwood is Tracy Lawrence, who had "19 consecutive top 10s in 1991-97."

Very impressive, Taylor. We have no doubt that you'll continue to break all types of records with your upcoming singles!

After setting yet another record over the weekend, we're def feeling optimistic about this season of American Idol…and we are NOT alone.

FremantleMedia's CEO Tony Cohen is saying that he believe Idol's 10th season will achieve "even higher ratings than ever."

If they can keep up this hot streak they're on, then we'd agree that it's def possible.
