Brendan Fraser's Alimony & Child Support Payments Worse Than Imagined!

brendan fraser pleads poverty after injury cant afford alimony child support payments

It looks like Brendan Fraser might need that Mummy reboot we heard about so long ago to happen sooner rather than later!

As we've mentioned before, the actor has been struggling to keep up on his alimony and child support payment which total more than $110,000 a month! Well apparently things have gotten so bad that he's been forced to 'plead poverty' in hopes of getting those costs slashed!

According to a source close to Brendan, he hasn't been able to keep up with payments after sustaining a serious back injury while trying to do some repairs on his home in Connecticut:

Brendan Fraser's Money Piles Are DRASTICALLY Lowering!

brendan fraser going broke

Hurry! It’s time for another Mummy movie!

Because if Brendan Fraser doesn’t get to work NOW, he’s gonna be living in a cave just like Encino Man.

The actor is currently stuck in a battle trying to get his alimony payments to his ex-wife lowered, and now that he’s revealed his financial statements, it’s clear he's not living the high life.

In total, he is losing over $87,000 per month due to alimony payments of $50,000 per month as well as payments of $25,000 per month for child support.

How many ex-wives and kids does he have?!

Even though he’s making about $205,704 per month, agents, managers and other professional expenses take $112,803 of that.

And after all his other expenses, he is left in the red.

We're guessing not being paid for some work isn't helping either!

But, before you get all weepy for the actor, he has assets that total just under $25 million.

Soooo… we guess he won’t be going to the poor house just yet.

Mummy Writer Promises Reboot Will Be More Dark Knight, Less Dudley Do-Right

Brendan Fraser Rachel Weisz The Mummy Reboot Not Dark Enough

Screenwriter Alex Kurtzman has a few entrees on his plate but thankfully doesn't mind speaking with his mouth full!!

Apparently, the studios who asked Kurtzman and his writing partner Robert Orci to draft scripts for reboots of The Mummy and Van Helsing, want them to dig deep and channel their inner darkness!

Brendan Fraser has filed a lawsuit against the producers of his new movie, William Tell: 3D.

He was supposed to be paid an acting fee of $2.25 million whether the film shot or not.

The original start date of October 2011 came and went and no pay check was received.

So now Brendan is suing the producers for $3 million for his paycheck and additional damages, claiming he turned down several lucrative roles for this movie.

One of the producers, Todd Moyer, said:

Broadway Shows Are Struggling

broadway-shows-shutting-down.jpg

This makes us sad!

Several Broadway plays are closing early due to poor sales at the box office, weak reviews, or a combination of both.

Even shows with big names aren't attracting customers. Shows such as Elling starring Brendan Fraser, La Bete starring David Hyde Pierce, and A Life in the Theatre starring T.R. Knight and Patrick Stewart, are all shutting down early.

In fact, La Bete and A Life in the Theatre had less than half-filled theaters last week. And Elling was forced to close after just one week!

The show's co-star, Tony Award-winner Denis O'Hare tweeted his disappointment:

What a world what a world…..got to be on CBS for the parade and oh, they are shutting down the play. One door shut, another window opens.

So unfortunate!
