Mother and daughter screen legends living next door to each other sounds like something out of an old Hollywood movie — but there's no other way to describe the larger-than-life duo that was Carrie Fisher and Debbie Reynolds!
In the wake of the actresses' deaths, HBO moved up the release date of their already-finished documentary Bright Lights: Starring Debbie Reynolds and Carrie Fisher — which explores the unbreakable bond of love and friendship that passed between the pair.
The trailer promises a look inside their colorful family history, including Debbie's ill-fated marriage to Eddie Fisher and Carrie's battle with manic-depression.

But it also shows us the day-to-day life of the Star Wars actress and the Singin' in the Rain star, which is of course full of banter that showcases their lively relationship, and they speak directly to camera on their mother-daughter "bond" and experiencing ageism in Hollywood.
As we're still reeling from the tragic loss of both stars, this highly-anticipated documentary couldn't come at a more emotional time.
