It may seem odd to celebrate an airline's direct service from El Lay to London, but any excuse to dress up and walk the red carpet is fine with us!
Kelly Osbourne clearly agrees, as she attended British Airways and Variety's inaugural A380 service from Tinseltown to Londontown in the City of Angels on Wednesday.
The Fashion Police co-host made sure she'd end up on the best-dressed lists in an embellished Sachin + Babi two-toned top worn with a girly flared skirt and white platform pumps.
Her lavender locks looked extra shiny styled in a sweetly tousled 'do, while her winged liner and white eyeshadow gave off a mod 60s vibe.
And fiance Matthew Mosshart looked very proud to be standing next to his lovah, as he should be!

Whether it's crying babies, chronic farters, or Samuel L. Jackson's deadly snakes, we all know what it feels like to be antagonized aboard a long flight!
Even worse for a cabin full of British Airways passengers flying from London to Washington last month, the annoying persons were airline employees!
Apparently several off-duty flight attendants got tipsy in first class, made-out with and petted each other, knocked into bewildered onlookers, and were generally VERY disruptive!

UK tweeners must be flipping a shiz!
The Icelandic volcano that erupted and grounded flights all over Europe because of the amount of ash in the air has forced Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth to cancel their appearance at the UK premiere of The Last Song!
However, for all the Europeans devastated by this news and still want a Disney fix, Selena Gomez is stranded overseas until the airwaves clear!!

Nope, those aren't clouds, folks!
Check out this shot of the last plane to leave from Heathrow before all incoming and outgoing flights were cancelled because of
that sneaky smoke monster from Lost potentially dangerous ash in the air blowing south from an erupting volcano in Iceland!
Apparently this is the second time this month that the volcano has erupted, and it lives under the Eyjafjallajokull glacier!
All British airspace is closed until 6pm tonight, but most airlines are refusing to operate until tomorrow morning at the earliest.
Sucks! Better to be safe than sorry, though!

Yikes! This could mean some foiled travel plans!
The British Airways cabin crew members will go on strike for 3 days beginning at midnight tonight after the talks between the union and airlines fell through.
Tony Woodley of the Unite union says of BA, "This company does not want to negotiate. This company wants ultimately to go to war with my members and the union."
As for BA Chief Executive Willie Walsh he says he "deeply regrets" the inconvenience, but they're going to try and operate as many flights as possible and that he's "disappointed the union has not been able to see the sense of the proposal we tabled today."
