Well, this is pretty surprising!
While Kate Middleton was in the running for the British Style Award at last year's British Fashion Awards, she's noticeably missing from the nominations this year!
Yup, not even her impeccable outfits could land her on the list! Though one newcomer (and newlywed) has instead topped it off…

Harry Styles attended the British Fashion Awards at the London Coliseum on Monday night. And guess
who what he left with!
The 'British Style Award'!
Which is saying a lot since the British heartthrob was going up against major style heavyweights, like David Beckham, Kate Moss, Cara Delevingne, and Kate Middleton!
But dressed in a black blazer, sheer black top, skinnies, and Yves Saint Laurent boots, he most definitely proved he was the right choice!
Now we can only hope One Direction reconsiders that fashion line…

Viva la Dita!
Dita Von Teese gave the world some much-needed style tips at the Valentino: Master of Couture exhibition in London on Wednesday in an absolutely spectacular black & white frock.
The totally-doesn’t-look-40-year-old was a striking sight in the Valentino Couture dress with square neckline, short bubble sleeves, knife-pleated skirt, and tone-on-tone floral embroidery.
There were a lot of design elements at play here, but they went together seamlessly!
Miz Von Teese completed the look with a black belt, jeweled satin clutch, and black Louboutins.
We just can’t get over how good she looked. She left fellow attendees Victoria Beckham and recent British Style Award winner Alexa Chung in the dust!

The more Kate, the merrier we get!
Her Royal Hotness arrived at the Natural History Museum in central London on Tuesday to officially open the new Treasures Gallery.
And of course she looked marvelous in a green belted Mulberry dress with accordion-pleated skirt and long cuffed sleeves, pairing it with black Jimmy Choo pumps. The dress also featured peace sign prints throughout.
Kate wore the same dress almost exactly a year ago, but still manages to breathe new life into it. How does she do it!?
Call us biased, but we really think the Duchess should have won the British Style Award this year.
Guess we’ll have to wait till next time!

Style icon award winner three times in a row!
Well, we guess there’s no arguing with those laurels even though we don’t always love this it-girl’s style.
Alexa Chung attended the British Fashion Awards at The Savoy in London on Tuesday in a floral lace Simone Rocha number, and took home her third consecutive British Style Award.
Not too shabby!
The 29-year-old kept her signature tousled waves and low-key makeup, while offsetting the black A-line dress with some truly inneresting footwear–glittery floral pointy Nicholas Kirkwood heels with black piping.
We kinda like it!
Whatever you may think of her personal style–she’s definitely a risk-taker!
Congrats on the win, girl!
