BritBrit bought a brand spankin' new home!!

Well, technically the pop star's recently acquired crib was built back in 2010 — but we bet it feels new to her!!

Britney Spears closed the deal on a beautiful and spacious 8,500 sq ft. home in Thousand Oaks, CA and she only had to write a check for $8.5 mil!

Most of us can't drop this kind of cash on a whim but the Toxic singer is being paid almost double that to judge and mentor on X Factor!

Phew!

Now that The Voice is back to their regular Monday/Tuesday schedule, the X Factor can take back some of its shine!

The X Factor continued with its auditions Wednesday, taking in a rating of 3.5 and garnering 9.38 million viewers!

In terms of TOTAL viewers, FOX won the night overall with adults 18-49 and XF also saw a bit of a victory, rising up 6% in ratings from last week’s premiere!
