WNBA Star Glory Johnson Pleads Guilty To Disorderly Conduct In Domestic Violence Case With Brittney Griner
The headlines keep rolling in.
WNBA player Glory Johnson was able to have her assault charge dropped in the domestic violence case with ex Brittney Griner after pleading guilty to disorderly conduct.
The plea deal is very similar to the same Griner received after the infamous physical altercation between the couple back in April, according to TMZ.
ICYMI: The basketballers were arrested for assaulting each other after an argument at Lowe's. The physical fight didn't escalate until the then-couple was at home behind closed doors. Shortly after the incident, they got hitched and subsequently divorced 28 days later. And most recently, Johnson gave birth to twins in October.
Yes, you read that all correctly.
Fortunately for Johnson, she will not have to serve jail time but she will have to participate in a six month domestic violence program. She's also not allowed to own a gun or harass Griner. Seems reasonable…
The divorce is still ongoing.
We're just glad this whole ordeal is one step closer to being figured out for the sake of the newborns.
