We never thought we'd say this, but we think other couples on the rocks should be taking a page out of their book!
Pete Wentz and Ashlee Simpson were spotted out to lunch together with little Bronx Mowgli, at Carney's in Studio City, "smiling and having a sweet time with their son!"
According to a witness at the restaurant:
"They definitely looked like a happy family – very chatty and smiling a lot. [They were] very attentive to their son."
So happy to know that they're keeping the split so amicable for their kid!
Such an adult, mature road to take! And we think Bronx will ultimately be all the better for it!

We know that Pete Wentz and Ashlee Simpson are divorced, but we can't help but wonder if there's still a spark.
The two have been spending an awful lot of time together lately - and we know that it's for the sake of Bronx - but they do seem really close to each other.
Whatever the case may be, we're just happy they're getting along for cutie little Bronx. The proud parents took their son to the Travel Town Museum at Griffith Park in El Lay on Thursday and went around the park riding the kiddie train.
Glad they're doing normal family things and showing the love to Bronx. Way to go, Pete and Ashlee!

What a great dad. Every little boy loves picking out his first bike!
Pete Wentz played Mr. Mom for the day and took his son Bronx bike shopping in El Lay on Wednesday.
The two picked out a bike, a tricycle, and a bike trailer. Being the responsible dad that Pete is, he, of course, also bought a perfect fitting bike helmet for his little guy.
It was such a pretty day in Los Angeles, we can only imagine all the places the two went riding. The beach, the park…the possibilities are endless.
Good to see some father/son bonding time for you two!

Hey Bronx! How ya doing, buddy?!
We actually haven't seen much of the little guy since his parents, Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz, announced that they were getting a divorce and we were starting to get a little concerned. However, he seems perfectly fine, gingerly being held in his mother's arms as the two enjoy the launch party of Lucky Kids Magazine.
You don't look too bad yourself, AshSim. Nice to see you smiling!

One big happy sort of broken family.
This afternoon, Ashlee Simpson was spotted with her soon to be ex-husband, Pete Wentz, and their son, Bronx Mowgli, at L.A.'s Beverly Glen mall. Everyone was all smiles and neither Ash or Pete seemed eager to be out of the other one's hair. In fact, after the mall, the stopped off at Starbucks and were seen chatting each other up for quite some time.
So friendly! Maybe something can be worked out between you two? If not, we're proud of you for putting your differences aside, at least for your son.

Phew! We were nervous there that things were going to turn ugly!
Reports surfaced yesterday that Pete Wentz and Ashlee Simpson were about to embark on a nasty custody and spousal support battle over their son, Bronx, but thankfully, sources close to the couple are claiming that the paperwork is not reflective of how the Fall Out Boy rocker truly feels!
The insider explains:
"Ashlee's family was really upset when they heard about the custody and support requests. And Pete felt really bad about it. He told Ashlee not to worry because he would be paying support. It doesn't seem like Pete was the one to make the decisions about support and custody, it sounds more like his lawyers were responsible for the move. He loves her and wishes they could stay married. They get along really well and have been so good about sharing time with Bronx. Pete is leaving to go on tour this week, and Ashlee's gone out of her way to make sure he can spend time with Bronx, they've already made a schedule that works for both of them. Pete made way more money than Ashlee did during their two year marriage, but that was because she was being a mom and not working, so he will definitely be supporting her."

Although we would advise Pete to be very clear with his lawyers from now on about what exactly he is looking for in this divorce!
We're just happy to hear that they're both doing the right thing and making sure that their son's happiness is the number one priority during this whole mess! Keep it up, guys!

Ashlee Simpson is definitely moving on.
The divorcee has been staying with her parents since her split with husband Pete Wentz, but now she feels it time's to get a place of her own.
Ashlee was spotted house-hunting with a real estate broker in the Beverly Hills area Saturday morning.
A source says:
"They drove by a few houses in the $3 to 4 million range. The homes were two-story traditional style homes in a family neighborhood. One of the houses was just up from the street from Coldwater Park where she and Pete like to take Bronx to play. Another plus was that the homes were also very close to [sister] Jessica's house, which would be nice for her."
Unfortunately, it didn't seem like Ashlee was able to find a place as the insider added:
Ashlee didn't get out of the car and was quiet and subdued. At one point, she was going to get out of the car but when she saw photographers she decided to stay in the car and then went home."
Aw, cheer up, Ash! We're sure you'll find a nice home for you and Bronx soon enough!
