Sometimes, it's just good to stretch your legs!!!!

Two Western Grey kangaroo joeys are bounding and bouncing around the Brookfield Zoo after taking a break from moms Sheila and Daisy's pouches.

Kangaroos are born extremely underdeveloped and stay in the mama's pouches for 18 months before fully exploring the world.

The two cuties are currently 10 and 11 months old, so they still have a bit more nursing to do!

Check out these rambunctious rascals (above) as they hop around the zoo!

A new baby boy giraffe has made its way into the world, and we can't stop saying AWWWWWWWW!!

The calf was born last week at the Brookfield Zoo to a 6-foot-2 mama named Arneita, which marks the zoo's 58th giraffe birth.

Crazily enough, the 140-pound baby was DROPPED five feet from his mommy during the birthing process, but was on his feet in only 30 minutes!!

Unfortunately, the little cupcake doesn't have a name yet, but we're just excited to see that he was born into the world happy and healthy!!!

The mom and son duo can be seen at the Habitat Africa! the Savannah Exhibit right now, but if you don't have a chance to get to the zoo, check out the video (above)!

Everyone is going wombat shiz crazy at the Brookfield Zoo.

There are only 10 Southern hairy nose wombats in North America, and the little cuties at Chicago's Brookfield Zoo are too PRESCHUZZ!!

A new joey is unnamed at the moment, but she's out of the pouch and exploring her new world!

This is the 16th successful wombat birth at the zoo and the staffers hope there is a lot more where this joey came from!

Congrats to the Brookfield Zoo on another super Aussie baby cutie!

Chicago's Brookfield Zoo is the proud new owner of a baby aardvark!!

Newborn aardvarks are very fragile so the zoo staff is going to be helping its mother in raising the baby.

The baby is being checked up on and receiving as much care and food as it needs to make sure it's growing properly.

And we think it is just the cutest little guy ever!

We want a baby aardvark!

So sad!

Minutes before a show on Monday at the Brookfield Zoo in Illinois, a female dolphin, Nea, collided with another dolphin and died!

According to the Chicago Zoological society, she died from a fractured skull.

No one witnessed the incident but trainers heard a loud pop and quickly rushed in to help. After performing CPR until veterinary staff arrived the dolphin was found to be unresponsive.

The other dolphin is fine.

Ever since arriving at the Brookfield Zoo a year ago, Nea had integrated very well with the other dolphins, so it looks like that rules out any “fishy” business in the death of Nea the dolphin.
