We can't wait for this traumatic trial to be over for the Hudsons.

The court heard the last bit of testimony today from two police officers at the scene of the tragic murders and closing arguments are set for tomorrow.

Since the defendent and accused murderer, William Balfour, is "determined he does not want to testify," this thing is almost wrapped up.

Hopefully by the end of it, Jennifer Hudson and her sister Julia will get some justice for the horrific crimes done to their family.

The singer has been in court EVERY DAY since the trial began three weeks ago. Considering all of the grief she must have gone through, we hope her participation pays off!

As we've reported, Cheryl Cole became quite smitten with a soldier who gave her his digits during her time in Afghanistan, and even revealed that she was hoping to call him this week!

Well, the man in question has reportedly been ID'd as Royal Marine Andy 'Bagsy' Baker, and not only does he really want a chance to take the pop star out, but he wants her to know that he doesn't have access to a phone until October 1st!

Lee Daniels is probably most famous for being the director of the award-winning film Precious, but unfortunately, it's not enough to help him get a family member out of prison!

The director was reportedly ready to shell out $1 million to bail his brother-in-law, Henry Black, from prison - for shipping kilos of cocaine across the country - but Judge John Gleeson ruled that the charges were too severe to let him off the hook!

Defense lawyer Jason Russo attempted to use Daniels' noteriety in his clients favor by proclaiming in court:

"His income is approximately, I'm probably understating it, $1 million a year. I don't know if the court is aware of who Mr. Daniels is. He was the producer and director of the movie 'Precious' that won some awards over the last couple of years."

To which Gleeson replied curtly:

"Oh, okay. No, I wasn't. Now I am."

Ouch!

Sorry, guys! The law is the law!

And it sounds like Black is in some SERIOUS trouble, regardless of whom his relatives may be!
