Survivor Producer Claims Innocence In Wife's Murder

After Mexican authorities issued an arrest warrant on Monday for reality show producer Bruce Beresford-Redman, he insists that he is innocent in the murder of his wife Monica.

He gave the following statement:

"I am devastated at her loss; and I am incensed at the suggestion that I could have had anything to do with her death. I am innocent.

Monica was the axis around which our whole family revolved. From her sisters and parents to my parents and of course to our children and me, she was everything to us. My children have had one parent taken from them by a senseless act of violence. I implore the Mexican authorities not to take their remaining parent by a miscarriage of justice and to do what is right not just what is expedient."

We highly doubt that's going to happen.

The couple's two children, both under 5-years-old, are in the temporary custody of Bruce's parents. Our thoughts are with them.

Survivor Producer Ordered To Return To Mexico

Filed under: Legal MattersSad SadReality TV

After leaving the country and jetting off to Los Angeles, the attorney general's office in Mexico has ordered Survivor producer Bruce Beresford-Redman to return to Cancun to answer more questions about the murder of his wife Monica Beresford-Redman.

If he doesn't abide by their order, the Mexican government has the right to ask the United States for help to get him back. Since it would be on a voluntary basis, sources say that Bruce won't return.

And so the plot thickens again…

We just hope that Monica's family and children get some peace.

Filed under: Legal MattersSad SadReality TV

He's not getting those kids without a fight!

Having turned up in Los Angeles and claiming he was allowed to leave Mexico - despite his "person of interest" status in the possible murder of his wife - Survivor producer Bruce Beresford-Redman is attempting to regain the custody of his children!

However, the sister of Monica Burgos-Beresford, Carla Ferreira-Burgos, is not convinced he's innocent and is ready to fight him for custody!

She says:

"I don't think someone suspected of killing their mother should be in charge of the kids."

Agreed! This whole situation is just too shady!

Those poor children!

Survivor Producer Found In Los Angeles, Wants Custody Of Children

Filed under: Legal MattersSad SadReality TV

Hours after he was reported missing in Mexico, Survivor producer Bruce Beresford-Redman has been found in the U.S.

Even though Mexican officials declared that he was not allowed to leave the country, his lawyer, Richard Hirsch is saying that they did in fact allow him to leave, stating:

"He has been informed that he has no legal obligation to remain in Mexico pending an investigation into the tragic death of his wife, Monica. He has returned to Los Angeles County to be with his children and attend to family and personal matters."

He adds that Bruce is "devastated by the loss of his wife, best friend, and the mother of his children" and his motives for returning to L.A. was to regain custody of them.

According to Hirsch, his client has not been accused of a crime and and he has the legal right to have custody of his children, which he says, "is probably what is going to happen next."

Those poor kids!
