That's fine by us, considering the last few attempts by others to make Pinocchio a real boy ended in epic failure - and Jonathan Taylor Thomas. (Where the hell is that kid?)
Warner Brothers is in the early stages of producing a new live-action version of the classic tale of a wooden puppet who wants to be a real boy. The studio has already brought on Dan Jinks to produce and Bryan Fuller to pen the script.
What should really get people excited about the project is Dan Jinks outlook on the story. He told sources that he was inspired to reimagine the tale after seeing Tim Burton's interpretation of Alice in Wonderland - and we all know that faired pretty well.
Sounds like they could be off to a good start.
