They may have chosen a relatively unknown actor, Andrew Garfield, for Spidey, but it looks like they may go a drastically different way for the love interest.

Hilary Duff has entered the rumor mix after an article was released, which mentioned that Duff had a copy of the new Spider-Man script on her kitchen table at her home.

The article mentioned that the script had a part called “girl” highlighted, which could either be for the role of Mary Jane Watson, formerly played by Kirsten Dunst, or Gwen Stacy, who was played by Bryce Dallas Howard in Spider-Man 3.

Should be inneresting to see if Duff becomes a serious contender, and if so, whether they’ll cast her as Mary Jane or Gwen Stacy.

Although we're usually put off by anything Gwyneth Paltrow has to say, her latest GOOP newsletter details her and Eclipse star Bryce Dallas Howard's experience with postpartum depression.

Paltrow said:

When my son, Moses, came into the world in 2006, I expected to have another period of euphoria following his birth, much the way I had when my daughter was born two years earlier. Instead I was confronted with one of the darkest and most painfully debilitating chapters of my life. For about five months I had, what I can see in hindsight as postnatal depression, and since that time, I have wanted to know more about it.

Considering she has everything in the world, this may help other women to admit their feelings and let them know it's not their fault.

And the then 25-year-old Bryce suffered from daily breakdowns, the inability to go downstairs for a meal and lashing out at her family.

Bryce added:

My husband began shooting a television series, and late evenings when he returned home, I would meet him at the door, shaking with fury, "I've hit the wall and gone through it, and I feel I am expected to go further." He would ask what he could do to help, but knowing there was nothing he could do, I screamed expletives at him, behavior he had never experienced in the seven years we had been together.

Sad. Glad they pulled through.
