Whoops! His bad!!

James Gunn, director of the upcoming Disney/Marvel flick Guardians of the Galaxy, shat the bed and he doesn't deny it.

Instead of slipping out in the middle of the night and leaving us with feces covered sheets, the filmmaker stuck around to do the wash.

After recent attention was drawn to a satirical but ultimately unfunny/offensive blog post he made last year, he's offering the world his retraction and apology via Facebook.

The post, titled The 50 Superheroes You Most Want to Have Sex With, graphically detailed ways in which he might bang (or be banged by) the sexiest guys and gals in comics.

CBS ordered a sitcom script for Bad Teacher — the naughty comedy starring Cameron Diaz, Justin Timberlake, and Jason Segal.

The three of them were brilliant in the side-splitting comedy and they'll be great on the small screen too!

And he's been chosen as tribute to pen the screenplay for the last two films in the Hunger Games series!

The Emmy award winning writer/executive producer of HBO's Game Change now has the daunting task of splitting Mockingjay, the final book in the HG trilogy, into two parts.

As we all know, Hollywood likes to squeeze every last cent out of their book-to-film franchises, (Twilight, Harry Potter), so luckily for fans, we get two servings of Mockingjay pie!

As of now, the last two films are set to hit theaters Nov. 21, 2014 and Nov. 20, 2015, respectively.

We are SO excited by this news!! We've no doubt Danny is the perfect mix of mega-talent and nerd to pull a major fantasy/sci-fi franchise flick like this off!!

Big changes are a-brewin' in the Buffyverse!

Season nine of Joss Whedon's Buffy the Vampire Slayer — a franchise oft-celebrated for empowering young women — will feature a new gay male character.

Buffy and her Scooby Gang were already ahead of the equality curve when compared to most other works from fiction but writer Jane Espenson knows there's more work to do!

After one film, seven years (and over a hundred episodes) of television, and a season and-a-half of comics, we're only now getting a taste of an openly gay male protagonist!!

Hooray for a slightly more accurate representation of real world demographics!!
