Filed under: Wacky, Tacky & TrueFoodFast Food

Burger King is making Pretty Patties!!! Sort of...

Did someone over at Burger King just watch the Pretty Patties episode of Spongebob Squarepants? Because this looks awfully familiar!!

Just last year BK had the internet buzzing when it was announced their Japanese locations would be offering a burger made with black buns and cheese!

Well the mad scientists have apparently decided to take it a step further as they are now offering a burger with RED buns and cheese!

Meet the Aka Burger! Served with either Samurai Chicken or Samurai Beef, this diabolical creation gets its bright red glow by simply using tomato powder, which sounds a lot less harmless than it looks!

But it also comes topped with an "angry" red sauce, which is just a mixture of miso paste and chili sauce!

If you're wondering when you can get your hands on one of these bad boys, they'll start rolling out on July 3rd! BUT they'll only be available in Japan! Sorry adventurous eaters of the world!

Still we have to ask, would you eat one of these things??

Would you try Burger King's red burger???
