Poor thing! We hope she's all right!

We just learned that Beach Party/Mickey Mouse Club star Annette Funicello's house in Los Angeles has burned down.

So sad to see the "after" photos (above).

At least the posters from her film/TV work somewhat survived the fire.

Our thoughts are with Annette and her family during this difficult time.

We wish her a speedy and full recovery.

Tyler Perry Offers To Rebuild Woman's Home After It Burns Down

Just absolutely heartwarming.

Tyler Perry has reportedly reached out to an 84 year old woman named Rosa Lee Ransby, and her four year old great-granddaughter after their home burned to the ground in a fire, and has offered to re-build the woman's house!

According to reports, Perry saw the devastated woman on a news report in Atlanta, immediately stepped in, and has also put them up in a rental home while a new house is being constructed on the original lot.

Coweta Fire Chief Todd Moore explains:

“It’s made my Christmas. I’ve been doing this a long time, seen a lot of bad things come and go but this is special.”

It truly is! We're so touched to see someone go this above and beyond and help out a stranger in such an instrumental way!

He's completely changed their lives for the better, for no other reason than to help!

Such an inspiration!

Ricki Lake Opens Up To Oprah About Her Burnt Down House

Filed under: InspirationOprah WinfreySad SadRicki Lake

ricki lakes talks about malibu house fire on oprah

Ricki Lake went on Oprah yesterday to talk about the fire that destroyed her Malibu house this summer, but fortunately didn't hurt anyone.

Here's what Ricki had to say about it:

"My nine year old went and got his brother and saved him… Unfortunately we lost everything that was in the house. It's tragic and it's scary but I'm so grateful. My children are healthy, I'm healthy; I didn't get burned in that fire… If there's some higher power looking out for me or what, I won't take it for granted. I never did before this happened and I never will."

More from Ricki:

"We got out with the clothes on our back - no shoes, nothing. It was terrifying but I also feel like, suddenly things are just things. I mourn the loss of that house even though I didn't own it… but I actually think my kids will learn a valuable lesson about how quickly things can change and you have each other and family is everything."

Very nice words, Ricki. We admire your take on the rough situation that you've gone through.

We wish you all the best, bb!
