Karen Klein Tells Anderson Cooper: 'Bullies Not Bad Kids'

Karen Klein comes across on Anderson Cooper's show as a really thoughtful person with a sweet and gentle soul, which makes it even more heartbreaking anytime we see the video of her being taunted in a way that seems almost surreal.

Ch-ch-check out the video (above) of Coop's interview with Klein where she surprisingly says she feels the kids who bullied her are good kids individually, but when they are in groups, it's…well you know.

Keep in mind - this interview was filmed before the bullies had even apologized!

Luckily for her, karma seemed alive and well when she received a special announcement towards the end of the interview.

It's pretty cool to see her face light up as Coop tells her what it is.

P.S. The site made to raise money for Karen Klein has passed $500,000!

Police Get Prank Call That A Karen Klein Bully Is Being Held Hostage!!!

Wow, not even a bully deserves this.

The police apparently received a call yesterday that claimed to be holding a family hostage at gunpoint.

The caller gave the fuzz an address that turned out to be where one of Karen Klein's bullies lived, so the cops brought out the big guns and rushed over to the address.

Shizz was serious, too.

They set up a perimeter as they tried to contact the family inside, but could not reach them since the family had turned off their phones because of all the harassing phone calls they've received since their son bullied Karen Klein on a school bus.

Luckily the cops were finally able to speak with some family members, and realized the whole thing was a hoax.

Why would someone do this?

It is detrimental to the cops more than anyone. Someone could've actually needed the police while they were out on this wild goose chase.

Apparently, the police say threats targeting the bullies have been coming in left and right. They're threatening their brothers, sisters, mothers, fathers, each and all loved ones.

Even students who weren't on the bus are getting threats! No arrests have been made.

We just wish these people who are bullying the bullies would remember than an eye for an eye makes the whole world blind.

However, there is some very good news.

Donations for Karen Klein have passed 500,000! Amazing.

Karen Klein, Bullied Bus Monitor, Gets Apologies From Kids

Three students whose viral video show them bullying/heckling/abusing school bus monitor Karen Klein have issued apologies to the 68-year-old grandmother.

Klein's reaction to the apologies will be seen on Anderson Cooper later tonight.

Here's what Josh the bully said:

"I am so sorry for the way I treated you. When I saw the video I was disgusted and could not believe I did that. I am sorry for being so mean and I will never treat anyone this way again."

Here's what Wesley the bully said:

"I feel really bad about what I did. I wish I had never done those things. If that had happened to someone in my family, like my mother or grandmother, I would be really mad at the people who did that to them."

Here's what Wesley the bully's mother said:

"I cannot even tell you how badly I feel. I am deeply sorry for what my son did. … I am embarrassed, angry and sad about the awful way he treated you."

There has been a tremendous outpouring of support for Klein. A fundraiser, which originally was created to help raise $5,000 for Klein's 'dream vacation, has already surpassed $440,000. The video of Klein being bullied has been seen by over 3.7 million people.

Klein has said the amount of support she's received from people all across the world has given her "chills."

We're happy the bullies apologized, but we personally wouldn't blame Klein if she rejects their sorries.

What do U think?

Bullied Bus Monitor Karen Klein Talks To Today

Karen Klein, a 68-year-old grandmother of eight, was publicly humiliated by a group of sadistic middle schoolers while monitoring their bus ride home, but now she's getting the last laugh.

After videos of the verbal abuse she endured for over 10 minutes went viral, sympathetic internet users have donated over $190,000 to her retirement fund! That figure, by the way, grew by almost 50 grand in just an hour this morning and is most likely continuing to grow as we speak.

New York's Greece Central School District has also taken action by contacting the police to investigate the harassment and is planning severe disciplinary measures for the students involved.

What's the most amazing part of this sad story, however, is not merely the reaction from the public, but the reaction from the victim herself.

Klein spoke with Matt Lauer on The Today Show (above) and said that, despite how "terrible" the hurtful words made her feel, she does NOT want any legal action taken against her tormentors. Instead, she hopes that the incident will serve as a reminder for parents to teach their children to respect their elders.

Perhaps offering proof that bullying will not go away unless parents, school officials and society in general stop pretending it isn't a serious issue, Klein told reporters:

"I was trying to just ignore them, hoping they would go away and it doesn't work. Trust me. It doesn't go away."

Although she admitted, "I will get over it, just like I've gotten over everything else," what about the countless kids who don't get over bullying?

In the last few years, teenage suicide has been on the rise and is, without a doubt, a direct result of bullying. Will THIS be the final straw to make us all step in and put an end to the tragic trend or do we need one hundred more sad stories on the news to remind us of the terror that children are facing on a daily basis?

Bus Monitor Brought To Tears After Verbal Abuse From…Children!?

Filed under: Sad SadIcky Icky Diaper Poo

What is WRONG with these kids!?

A group of incredibly mean-spirited school children teamed up against a 68-year-old bus monitor named Karen Huff Klein to insult her to the point of tears on their way home.

The poor woman from Greece, New York didn't know how to react and tried to play off the vicious insults until she just couldn't take it anymore. The group of middle school-aged kids unloaded on her with lines about her "fat ass" while chanting "Karen wants herpes" before asking where she lives so they can "piss all over" her door.

This EXPLICIT video (above) is disturbing on so many levels. If these young kids can be so terribly cruel to a senior citizen, imagine how mean they are to their peers!

It looks like one of these brats recorded the verbal attack and uploaded it on the internet because they thought it was funny. Fortunately, the world does NOT share the same sentiment and is rallying behind Klein.

Not only has the video gone viral so people can see how awful the kids' behavior was, but an online fundraiser was established to receive monetary donations so she can go on a nice long vacation from her job.

The goal was $5,000, but people were so affected by this woman's experience that over $150,000 has been donated to her!

Wow! It breaks our heart to see America's youth acting so callously toward this woman, but the overwhelming outpour of support for her glues the pieces right back together again.

At least she'll have enough money to never step foot on that bus again. Let's just hope that these kids are disciplined accordingly by the Greece School District AND their parents!
