During Bob Barker's run as host of Price Is Right there were never any cruel products offered as prizes.
He made sure they kept fur coats and cars with leather interiors off the show.
And now he is outright furious over the show's recent promotion of cowhide boots and the Calgary Stampede, a deadly rodeo.
Bob said:
"I am appalled and disgusted. First, tickets to SeaWorld and now the Calgary Stampede, which is notorious for horses falling to their deaths.
This never would have happened on my watch. I'm thankful to Drew Carey for keeping up my plea to spay and neuter your pets, but where is the show going in the quest for prizes?
You have to wonder what's next—a trip to Alaska to shoot wolves?"
We hope that Price Is Right will listen to Bob after all his years of service.
He of all people should still have some pull at that show.
