Cam Looks STUNNING In Black Velvet On The CMA Awards Red Carpet!

cam cma awards red carpet 2017

What a fun look!

On Wednesday evening, Cam hit the red carpet for the 2017 CMA Awards – and, boy, did she look great. The Burning House singer had a reason to be all smiles as she donned a gorgeous Tadashi Shoji's Alexa dress. We mean, we couldn't be more smitten with this black off-the-shoulder velvet midi dress with gold trim and tiered lace panels.

In case you missed it, this particular number was from Tadashi Shoji's Fall 2017 collection. Cam tied her entire look together by letting her curly 'do fly freely. Oh, and don't let us forget to mention the country crooner's subtle makeup choices.

The nude lip! The gold eyeshadow! Simply perfection.

Way to slay it, girl!

The CMA Awards Reverses Ban On Reporters Asking About Guns & Politics After Brad Paisley & More Stars Speak Out!

The CMA Awards is facing backlash!

The Country Music Association put out a list of guidelines for reporters ahead of next week's CMA Awards, threatening to kick anyone out for asking about guns or politics.

According to their initial release, they asked reporters to "refrain from focusing [coverage on] … gun rights, political affiliations or topics of the like" in light of the Las Vegas shooting so attendees will "feel comfortable."

The restrictions release continued:

"If you are reported as straying from these guidelines, your credential will be reviewed and potentially revoked via security escort."

Brad Paisley, who will be cohosting alongside Carrie Underwood, already told Rolling Stone they won't be shying away from the tragedy during the show:

"We're not going to ignore it, but we're not going to also dwell on that. We have to make sure we honor those we've lost, but we also [have to] celebrate this music, which lives on, and do a good job having the heart we need to have on that night. And also the theme of the show this year is very much about unity and coming together as a format."

And on Friday, he slammed the CMA on Twitter for trying to put restrictions on topics in place:

Amber Rose Has The Perfect Response To The Cam Newton Controversy!

Filed under: ZportzBusiness BlitzAmber RoseNFLInstagramGirl PowerCam

In case you haven't heard, Cam Newton made a total ass of himself at a press conference on Wednesday, responding to a female reporter that it was "funny" to hear a woman ask a real football question.

The Carolina Panthers QB has been dragged for the sexist attitude, and rightfully so — he even lost an endorsement deal already.

BUT…

Amber Rose is here to tell you he is not some corner case who somehow magically became casually misogynistic; as she writes on Instagram, "society taught him to think this way his entire life."

Lynda Carter Hits Back At James Cameron's 'Thuggish' Wonder Woman Criticism!

She don't need no lasso to speak the truth!

James Cameron has gotten a lot of attention — and backlash — over his criticism that Wonder Woman was "a step backwards" for female led action movies basically because Gal Gadot is too sexy in it.

The Avatar director doubled down on his stance earlier this week, adding that Gadot's Diana Prince was used as "a sex object" and, therefore, wasn't nearly as feminist as Linda Hamilton's gritty Sarah Connor of the Terminator series.

Well, someone who knows a thing or two about playing a female superhero has a scathing response to the filmmaker's "thuggish" comments: OG Wonder Woman Lynda Carter!

The actress, who played the demigod in the ‘70s TV series, took to her Facebook page to call out the "poor soul" for trying to detract from the success of the blockbuster and director Patty Jenkins.

Echoing Jenkins' rebuttal that a "there is no right and wrong kind of powerful woman," Carter wrote:
