Want to bring your guinea pig to college, but not sure if you can?
Well, this story should provide you some inspiration!
College student Kendra Velzen was awarded a $40,000 settlement from Grand Valley State University after the college refused her pet guinea pig on its campus.
Legendary and, as of late, controversial college football coach Joe Paterno passed away on Sunday after complications from lung cancer.
His family will say goodbye one last time during a private funeral on Wednesday, then hold a public memorial service at the Bryce Jordan Center on Penn State University's campus the next day.
Details are still being worked out, but PSU is allowing two tickets per person for the memorial.
We're sure the building will be packed to the walls for the event because Paterno was truly loved by everyone in the Penn State community.

It's still painfully unclear as to what sparked the shooting of Virginia Tech campus police officer Deriek Crouse this week, but the man responsible has finally been identified has 22-year-old Ross Truett Ashley, a Radford University student who lived with his family in Paltrow, VA.
According to State Police investigators
As we previously reported, students still on campus at Virginia Tech are taking to Twitter to update family and fellow students about what is happening. The last we heard, police were tracking the gunman, who has killed two people so far, to the college's student center.
A student has just now posted this picture. The police have called in a SWAT team that is now headed towards Squires Student Center.
Let's hope they catch this guy!!!
We love comedy and we love curing cancer! Who better to remind us to give a
sh*t spit about cancer than two of the funniest guys on TV?
Chris Pratt and Aziz Ansari from Parks and Recreation are spreading the word for anyone over 18 to give a spit about cancer on behalf of DoSomething.Org.
The campaign is calling for possible donors to join the Be The Match registry and potentially save the life of a blood cancer patient. To participate, simply swab a few cheek cells from inside your mouth and mail it back to the registry to see if you're a match!
