We just previously mentioned that the NHLPA declined the NHL's 50-50 revenue split offer and the NHL turned down all their counter-offers.

So the NHL has canceled 135 games through November 1st.

We have more bad news for Celine Dion fans who were planning to see the singer belt out her hits at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas.

Thanks to that nasty inflammation of her vocal chords, she has been forced to cancel 10 more shows. Such a bummer!

The good news is that she has seen a specialist and is under proper care, as she explained to sources:

"I tried to sing at my soundcheck last week, and I had no control of my voice whatsoever. We thought that after a few days' rest I would improve, but it wasn't getting any better… I guess it was worse than I thought. I'm fortunate that I was able to see Professor Berke. He identified what was causing the problems I was having, and he assured me that with the amount of rest he prescribed, I would be back to 100%."

Celine won't be able to hit the stage again until June, but tickets WILL be refunded! However, she still feels pretty bad about not being able to perform for her fans, continuing:

"Obviously this is the worst thing for a singer… not being able to do your shows. I feel worse knowing that I'm disappointing my fans. I'm so sorry… I hope they forgive me."

Aww! They totally will, gurl. Their hearts will go on! Ha!

It doesn't sound like Lamar Odom's dad Joe Odom is doing well.

The former heroin addict is currently suffering from an undisclosed illness, which has prompted Lamar to cancel some of his games to be by his dad's side.

Joe has recently spoken about how he's doing, but it seems like he's dealing with a new slew of problems.

He says:

"I’m doing good. I’m stressed out and distressed. I’m doing a lot better. But I’m depressed right now. I’m getting some rest."

Even if he's physically feeling better, he needs to be in a positive mental state in order to stay healthy.

He didn't elaborate further on his condition, but did say that "it is a problem that I had."

We know this is tough on Lamar considering he's had a strained relationship with his father.

Rumors are going around that the Eagles may have played a part in Michael Vick cancelling his appearance on Oprah at the last minute.

According to reports, the Eagles “voiced objections” to Vick going on the show, and then on Wednesday Vick released a statement saying he had to cancel but that he hopes “to be able to participate in the interview in the future.”

We would not be surprised AT ALL if the Eagles didn’t want him to appear. Even though Vick’s public image is slowly improving, any slip-ups at this point could set him way back!
