From Doctor Who To Dunder Mifflin! Catherine Tate Is Top Contender To Replace Carell

catherine tate top contender for office position

Oh no! So, does this mean that the new manager of Dunder Mifflin won't be Warren Buffett? Ha!

We've been hearing about lots of different contenders to replace Steve Carell on The Office, including Will Arnett, James Spader, Ricky Gervais, and Will Ferrell, but NOW we've learned that Doctor Who star Catherine Tate is a strong candidate for the job.

Tate is reportedly the favorite amongst the show's producers, but there's some question as to whether or not she'll have enough time for the part due to her role in an upcoming run of Shakespeare's Much Ado About Nothing in England.

The antici….pation is killing us! We want answers and we want them now! LOLz.

Would U like to see Catherine Tate as Steve Carell's replacement? Who is your favorite candidate for the job?

Sorry, Donald! Obama Beats Trump In New Poll

Filed under: PolitikBarack ObamaDonald TrumpSarah Palin

obama ahead of trump in new poll

This shouldn't come as any kind of HUGE surprise for Donald Trump.

According to a new poll, 64% of voters, including 46% of Republicans, said that they would "definitely not vote for" The Donald as President. The only candidate who had less support according to the poll was Sarah Palin with 65% of voters against her.

Also NOT in Trump's favor - 50% of voters said that he'd be a "poor" or "terrible" president.

Barack Obama didn't do incredibly well in the poll either, but he did better than Trump, with 46% of voters saying they definitely wouldn't vote for him.

Looks like The Donald's got his work cut out for him if he's going to pull ahead of Obama.

Which candidate would U definitely not vote for?

Seriously? Donald Trump On Top In New Poll

donald trump doing well in the polls

Looks like Republicans REALLY like Donald Trump or people are messing with the pollsters.

Based on the most recent poll of Republican voters, Donald Trump is the top candidate at 19 percent support, along with Mike Huckabee who's at the same place.

Here's what CNN Polling Director Keating Holland had to say about Trump's rise in the polls:

"More than four in ten Republicans say they would not like to see Trump toss his hat in the ring."

"Are Republicans switching from Romney to Trump? Some are, but it's a lot more complicated than that, as you would expect with 11 potential hats in the ring. Only one in five Trump supporters say that Romney would be their second choice. It looks like Trump pulls as much support from Gingrich and Palin as from Romney, and Romney's support would go down even if Trump were not in the list of potential candidates."

Very inneresting.

We're still having trouble believing that Trump is getting so much support at this point in time! Guess we'll see how things progress, but if these numbers are any indicator, things may be surprisingly looking good for Trump in this race…

Do U think Donald Trump will continue to gain support?

Xtina For X-Factor?

xtina vs chezza

A couple of weeks ago, we learned that Cheryl Cole had reportedly purchased a £2.2 million apartment in Beverly Hills, five minutes away from Fox TV Studios.

That seemed like a pretty major sign that Cole would be joining the U.S. X-Factor as a judge, but now it looks like she's got some competition…from Christina Aguilera!

According to reports, Xtina has joined Chezza as a top contender to judge the U.S. X-Factor.

Here's what a source had to say about it:

“Although Simon is desperate for Cheryl to join him on the judging panel, bosses just aren’t convinced. Both Rihanna and Katy Perry have been mentioned as possible candidates but neither would be able to take time out of their busy work schedule to be judges."

"Christina is the one all bosses are agreed on. She has it all; looks, talent and she isn’t afraid to speak her mind. She is a massive star globally and her voice is recognized as one of the best of all time so there really isn’t any competition especially where Cheryl is concerned.”

Poor Cheryl! We know how badly she wanted this position.

Who knows? Maybe the execs will have a change of heart. Come on, Simon! Back up your girl!

Team Xtina or Team Chezza?

Will Ferrell Teams Up With Warner For Political Comedy

warner wins bid for will ferrell political comedy

Looks like there will be something to laugh about during the 2012 Presidential Election…and no, this is not an attempt to make fun of Sarah Palin any of the potential candidates!

Warner Bros has won a bidding war for Will Ferrell's new political comedy, which will be released in conjunction with the upcoming election, and will co-star Zach Galifianakis.

The story revolves around two rival candidates, and we're sure it will be VERY topical. Who knows…maybe Ferrell will be able to single-handedly sway the election one way or the other.

His movies certainly get big enough audiences, so if he's got a political agenda…many will hear it!

Are U excited for a Will Ferrell political comedy? Do U think he could potentially play any sort of influence in the 2012 Presidential Election?
