Linkin Park is sending their thoughts and prayers to the family of one dead fan and 19 others that were injured at a concert in Cape Town, South Africa on Wednesday.

Strong winds blew over a billboard, erected by a sponsor outside the stadium, before the show began.

It wasn't until after their performance that the band had learned of the tragedy. Even though they "had no relationship with the sponsor or the entity responsible" for the accident, it sounds like they feel pretty bad.

Sources close to Cheryl Cole are reporting that she IS on vacation with friend Derek Hough, but the two are actually spending time in Cape Town, South Africa - after the Dancing With The Stars cast member made sure there was no way she could contract anything like malaria there!

The insider explains:

“He wanted to make sure Cheryl had a good start to 2011 after her worst year ever. Then he just told her to pack a bag as he’d organized a holiday for them. Friends warned about going back to Africa so soon afterwards. But Derek did his homework and found Cape Town to be a malaria-free region. Cheryl can relax and be pampered which is what she wanted.”

Phew!

We're glad to hear that she is getting the rest that she deserves after such a tough year!

Busy, busy, busy. Looks like the flight might have been a little rough on them too. They don't seem their usual chipper selves to us!

He lost another restaurant! Another! What does this make now? 7? 8? 102?

We've just lost count! (Probably as fast as he is losing money!)

The One & Only Cape Town hotel is was home to Gordon Ramsay's Maze restaurant. The joint had a grand opening just lat April, with such distinguished guests as Nelson Mandela enjoying it's opening dishes.

But put on lid on this one because it's finished. After learning of it's poor turn around, Gordon Ramsay Holdings announced they were no longer managing the establishment and handed over the property to the hotel. There are still four other Maze restaurants throughout the world, but at this rate, the only place you will see Gordon Ramsay's name grace a dish is in the FOX fall-line up.

Speaking of which, Gordon has ANOTHER show coming up, this time an American Idol-esque competition show for home cooks.

Won't that just be… ZzzzzzZzzzzz!

We say almost because when your girl moves all the way back to Africa when you live in England, things don't look really good in the keeping it together department.

But he is the Prince of England after all! He has connections!

Sources confirmed that Prince Ginger Harry took time out of his current African goodwill tour to spend two days with his girlfriend, Chelsy Davy.

When Chelsy Davy announced that she was giving up on her life in England and moving back to Africa, it didn't look good for her relationship with Prince Harry.

On Tuesday, about a week after the public learned Chelsy was giving up on England and settling down in Africa to be with her family, Prince Harry was spotted chain-smoking and having lunch with his sweetheart in Granger Bay, Cape Town.

After lunch, the pair returned to her beachside apartment, probably to talk or play checkers or something.

Hey, they might as well enjoy each other while it lasts. Long distance relationships never work out. And he's a prince! He can find someone new! Someone just as royal! And someone CLOSER!
