If you were wondering who could possibly go toe to toe with the buffed up Chris Evans in Captain America: The Winter Soldier, you finally have an answer.

Frank Grillo of The Grey has been cast as Crossbones, a terrorist mercenary who rivals Cap's Stars And Stripes costume with his own take on the Jolly Roger.

Frank may be in pretty good shape already, but he'll have to work out even harder if he's going to stand a chance against Cobie Smulders, Scarlett Johansson, and Samuel L. Jackson, all of whom are reportedly reprising their Avengers roles for the film.

Luckily for 'Bones, he'll have a little help from Sebastian Stan who played Bucky in the original film and will be returning in this one as the titular coldhearted villain.

How??? You'll just have to watch and find out!

Marvel wants Gangster Squad star Anthony Mackie to play Falcon in Captain America: The Winter Soldier, slated for Spring 2014.

Falcon — one of Marvel's first African-American superheroes — was BFFs with Captain A back in the comics of the '70s.

Little is known about the sequel's plot, but we do know Falcon talks to psychically communicates with birds!

We LOVE birds!!

Chris Evans will, of course, return as super-awesome super-hottiepatriot Captain America.

Between Iron Man 3, Thor 2, an Avengers sequel, and whatever new franchises they plan on spawning — coughcoughBlackWidowcoughcough — those folks at Marvel sure do have their hands full right now!

Luckily they've already made about sixty trillion dollars this year so they can afford to expand their employee base!
