Rehab is a good thing, we just wish people would realize they need it before someone gets hurt!

If the bassist from 3 Doors Down has done something substance-related that got him arrested, we'd say that rehab is a pretty damn good option — especially if that something means being charged with killing someone while driving under the influence. Which he did.

Nobody knows where he'll be spending his rehab time, but what we do know is that Todd Harrell is facing multiple charges, including vehicular homicide by intoxication. He was involved in a fatal interstate crash near Nashville last weekend and had numerous narcotics on him.

Lindsay Lohan could get yet ANOTHER legal break, but this time it is not so that she can go back to her hard partying ways.

…at least that is what her lawyer, Mark Heller, claims.

After his failed attempt to get the case thrown out because the cops went all Regina George on her, LiLo's attorney motioned Friday to slow down the case—in which she violated her probation—so that she can work on being a better person.

In the document, Mark promises that delaying the case "will enable the Defendant who is pursuing and participating in certain activities which will benefit her and afford her more of an opportunity to be a productive and responsible person and contributor to society."

What kind of activities exactly?

Lindsay Lohan's new lawyer Mark Heller has been making some questionable legal moves concerning Lilo's June car crash on the PCH — one of which is asking the judge to THROW OUT the lying-to-cops-case, claiming that the police involved in the incident did NOT allow Lindsay her Miranda rights.

BUT, he's also alleging that the cops acted VERY inappropriately towards his client, telling her that she couldn't leave and that if she refused to answer their questions it would be "worse for her."

Yikes! That does NOT sound like correct police conduct at all!

But we somehow doubt the coppers ever said such things.

We know it's crazy, but we tend to believe law enforcement officials over Lindsay Lohan and her odd choice of lawyer!

Ruh roh!

Legal issues are NOT looking so hot for Lindsay Lohan.

Besides losing her lawyer, Lindsay's ex-assistant, Gavin Doyle, has now been subpoenaed to testify in the troubled actress' hearing for lying to police officers.

This would all be in Lindsay's favor, except for the fact that Gavin is the same assistant that tattled on her to the cops and played a MAJOR role in her current issues with the law.

Gavin was the one to call out Lindsay's lies when she told cops that she WASN'T behind the wheel during her car crash on Pacific Coast Highway in June.

Her defense is starting to sound like an even BIGGER flop than The Canyons, but despite the rock-solid case city attorneys are building against her, Linds refuses to take a plea deal and insists that she never lied!

However, we won't know Lindsay's fate until March 1.
