A Brooklyn DJ is seriously injured after a freak accident.
Jonathan Toubin has hit by a taxi..in his hotel room!
Toubin was in bed in his Oregon hotel when the taxi crashed through the wall and pinned him to his bed.
The cab was then stuck to the crashed wall and a police officer and three maintanence men had to lift the rear of the car.
A maid then slowly DROVE the car off of Toubin.
The cabbie, Terry Uding, was hypoglycemic during the crash.
This may have caused the diabetic to crash into the hotel.
Toubin is currently in the hospital in Portland.

Thankfully, they are both alright.
On Friday morning, David Beckham was driving his Cadillac on the 405 Freeway in Los Angeles when he rear-ended a Mitsubishi that was broken down in the carpool lane.
David, whose son Brooklyn was in the car with him, was not arrested or cited on the scene, however the driver of the Mistubishi was taken to the hospital. Though he was wearing his seatbelt at the time, he did suffer some injury to his neck, poor thing.
We imagine Becks feels just awful about this. Wonder what could've happened for him to lose control like that?

Thank goodness! We don't know what we would've done if Vampire Bill had gotten hurt!
On Friday, Stephen Moyer scared the crowd at the 35th Toyota Pro/Celebrity Race to pieces when his car did a 360-degree roll during his seventh lap. Miraculously, the car, which had clid into the tire barrier, landed bak on its tires and Stephen walked away uninjured (and the winner of the race, we might add!)
After he crossed the finish line, Stephen explained:
"I was getting quicker and quicker and quicker and I was braking later and later and later. It was total driver error. It was a surreal experience. It felt like a roller-coaster ride when my car flipped."
We're just glad you're able to tell us that story all in one piece! How frightening that must've been - for you and for Anna Paquin! Girl must've been beside herself!

In case you didn’t have enough motivation to lose weight, here’s another reason: A recent study showed that obese people are at a higher risk of dying in car crashes.
According to the study, a driver who is moderately obese is 21% more likely to die in a severe car crash compared to non-obese drivers. If you’re seriously obese, that number jumps up to 56%.
The researchers say that car manufacturers need to consider these findings and use them in designing safer cars. Said the study’s lead author:
"The rate of obesity is continuing to rise, so is it imperative that car designs are modified to protect the obese population, and that crash tests are done using a full range of dummy sizes."
"Extending the range of adjustable seats would be helpful, as well as encouraging moderately and morbidly obese individuals to buy larger vehicles with more space between the seat and the steering column."
The short term solution is to fix the cars, the long-term solution is for Americans to start taking car of themselves.
